Portage paresseux d’un jeu lancé en 2012 et disponible sur un nombre incalculable de plateformes, la version Switch de Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition se destine à celles et ceux qui seraient totalement passés à côté ces dernières années. Ce qui veut dire que les autres peuvent l’oublier en attendant le spin-off Darksiders Genesis.  En tout cas, il n’est pas trop tard pour découvrir l’aventure de Mort, qui puise ses inspirations dans plusieurs licences et genres pour pondre un Zelda-like à l’efficacité toujours d’actualité. L’univers réussi parachève une expérience qui fait regretter le piètre Darksiders III sorti il y a quelques mois.

Simply put, running through the story of Borderlands 3 was a blast. Sure, the writing was a little thin in some points and the UI could be better, but the improved gunplay more than makes up for it. I spent most of my time with Moze, have Fl4k about half way through the story, and played around on Amara and Zane, and each one brings their own flavor to the fight. There are some balance issues that need to be addressed, but a more urgent priority would be squashing bugs and fixing the nagging technical issues ASAP (start with the video problems on PC first, please). I have also been pleased with the way Gearbox Studios has prepared for the long haul that is end game grinding by offering True Vault Hunter, Mayhem modes, and fun multiplayer action. Gearbox has already announced the first free DLC event, Bloody Harvest, set to come out in October, with another free content update and first paid DLC already planned. The seasonal content is a great way to keep me engaged with something new in between the larger persistent updates.

Save for a ship enhancing meta-game, Habroxia feels like a forgotten gem from the past. As such, those with an affinity for sixteen-bit era shooters will likely find the game absorbing.

WRC 8 is surprisingly accessible to rally newcomers, but after explaining how everything works, the game delights in throwing buckets of cold water in the player’s face. This is a tough game, but a fair one, and fans of rally racers and other “difficult” genres will likely equally enjoy skidding through WRC 8’s wicked twists and turns. A variety of modes flesh the experience out, but prepare to feast on the Career Mode, which is comprehensive and comprehendible. Recommended.

Children of Morta es un juego sólido que busca divertirnos en el plano jugable y respaldarlo con una historia familiar. En ocasiones existe una relación entre ambos que le sienta de perlas al juego, pero en otras se siente como dos juegos distintos y puede llegar a fastidiar que haya ocasiones en las que te quiten el mando para contarte una escena, especialmente siendo un género tan de ciclos muerte-reinicio como el roguelite.
