Noter Spyro Reignited Trilogy n'est pas évident puisque les trois titres ne sont pas équivalents. Globalement, la compilation réussit à nous faire revivre avec joie les premières sensations de Spyro. L'univers est enchanteur, les histoires sont simples, l'humour est présent et mignon, la jouabilité est très accessible à petits et grands. Spyro garde fièrement sa place parmi les grands titres des jeux vidéo.

Despite a few disappointing presentation issues. WRC 8 is an otherwise solid outing for the franchise. Improvements to car handling and physics set WRC 8 well above its predecessor, and the new career mode is a hugely appreciated addition for anyone looking to get the most out of a simulation racer.

All in all, Torchlight 2 doesn’t explore new territory, but it doesn’t need to. It keeps true to what made the first Torchlight a decent RPG and built on it. Although it has taken a while for it to finally make its way to the Xbox One, fans of the first game or those into isometric RPG’s will be happy to tuck into this game as there is plenty of content and variety to keep things interesting. To also now be able to play this multiplayer as well can only make the game more interesting.

Gears 5 makes major strides in the series’ approach to storytelling. This is the most heartfelt Delta Squad has ever been, and The Coalition backs up that emotion with genuine improvements to gameplay. While its new co-op mode, Escape, is generally underwhelming, Arcade mixes up the competitive meta enough to keep things interesting. All told, Gears 5 is more Gears, but it’s also a bold statement for why this series is still relevant.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy su Nintendo Switch è una conversione svogliata e poco convincente, a tratti davvero inguardabile in Modalità TV. Se però giocherete in modalità portatile le avventure del draghetto viola avranno tutto un altro aspetto (letteralmente), complessivamente più gradevole, a fronte di un frame rate non sempre solidissimo. Ora, la questione come sempre si riduce ad alcune riflessioni finali. Avete già giocato a Spyro: Reignited Trilogy su PlayStation 4 ed Xbox One? Se sì, allora non avete sicuramente bisogno di questa versione. Avete atteso finora la versione per Nintendo Switch, e dovete scegliere? Se possedete altre console, è meglio giocare il titolo lì. Infine: per voi la modalità portatile e la giocabilità durante i viaggi conta più di ogni altra cosa? Allora nessun dubbio: il pacchetto per Nintendo Switch è quello che fa per voi. Era lecito, comunque, aspettarsi di più.
