Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution è la summa completa di uno dei giochi di carte collezionabili più famosi al mondo, un'enciclopedia portatile in esclusiva su Nintendo Switch. Al di là del numero spropositato di contenuti, comunque, aggiunge una manciata di novità alla versione già presente su PlayStation 4 e pubblicata già diversi anni fa, peraltro senza offrire una vera conversione in grado di sfruttare le potenzialità della console ibrida targata Nintendo. Resta un acquisto quasi obbligato per i fan di Yu-Gi-Oh!, che nell'edizione fisica troveranno anche tre carte promo esclusive.

Overall then, Man of Medan is an absolutely brilliant take on the interactive horror genre, with excellent acting and story telling, amazing visuals and plenty to warrant multiple plays. The fact that you can now also do this with friends adds to the experience greatly, lending an extra air of uncertainty to proceedings. Some slight technical and presentation issues aside, I’m glad that more people get to experience Supermassive’s work. Here’s hoping the rest of the anthology can keep up the good work.

RAD est un petit jeu rempli de qualités : esthétiquement réussi, le titre repose sur un principe de mutations très fun. Le joueur parcourt les différentes maps générées aléatoirement pour trucider de méchantes bestioles radioactives à coup de batte de baseball. Les complétistes et les adeptes du scoring y trouveront certainement leur bonheur. Toutefois, le titre comporte également un certain nombre de défauts : son aspect répétitif et l’absence de fil conducteur efficace en frustrera certains. RAD est disponible au prix de 19,99 € sur PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 et Nintendo Switch.

Remedy è finalmente tornata grande stile con Control. Control è, senza dubbio, un must buy di questa generazione. Dubito vedremo un altro titolo di questo calibro entro la fine di questa generazione. Remedy è riuscita a creare un pacchetto vincente e ben studiato, seppur non enorme nelle forme, con un ottima IA e carico di sfide. Un titolo che avrebbe meritato forse qualcosina di più. Purtroppo, per via dei suoi problemi tecnici legati al frame rate, ci vediamo costretti a non promuovere a pieni voti il progetto, rimanendo fiduciosi che la situazione cambierà in futuro. Consigliamo il titolo a chi è appassionato dei giochi Remedy e a chi cerca un titolo particolare per cui passare il tempo in attesa di altre uscite più importanti.

The Dark Pictures Anthology : Man of Medan est une relative déception. Amateurs du genre conquis à nos heures perdues par Until Dawn sur Playstation 4, en attendions-nous un peu trop ? Même si cela est peut-être vrai, Man of Medan n’en demeure pas moins un jeu qui peine à passionner, la faute à une galerie de personnages pour laquelle on n’a guère envie de creuser, des dialogues fades, un rythme inégal et des commandes globalement lourdes. A ce stade, c’est presque un miracle que l’histoire parvienne finalement à intéresser jusqu’au bout. On ne peut pas totalement déconseiller Man of Medan qui parvient malgré tout à produire pas mal de moment de sursaut et dispose d’une ambiance qui n’est pas désagréable. On espère néanmoins que Little Hope, second chapitre de cette anthologie, parviendra à créer une expérience plus équilibrée entre le fond et la forme.
