Porté par un système de jeu qui vaut le détour à lui tout seul, Dicey Dungeons a tout du "petit jeu" qu'on lance machinalement entre deux occupations en imaginant ne faire qu'une partie pour constater des heures plus tard que l'on a toujours pas décroché. L'intelligence de son concept n'a d'égal que la satisfaction procurée par les nombreuses synergies toutes plus jouissives les unes que les autres. Si vous avez des doutes quant à la pertinence de ses mécaniques, rassurez-vous, ils risquent fort bien de s'envoler une fois la première heure de jeu passée.

Ancestors Legacy vindt zijn weg naar de console en weet daar prima een plek te veroveren tussen het kleine aantal succesvolle console RTS games. Door een compleet herontwerp van de UI en het besturingsschema is de game zeer overzichtelijk op een televisiescherm en kun je zonder al te veel moeite multitasken; een must in een base-building RTS. Toch lijdt de game onvermijdelijk onder langzaam camerawerk en is het gebrek aan de precisie van een muis voelbaar in grote gevechten. Zelfs met de handige knoppencombinaties om eenheden mee te besturen is micromanagement een zware opgave. De singleplayer is vermakelijk om doorheen te spelen, maar voor de volle tactische ervaring, zeker in multiplayer, ben je beter uit op de PC.

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition per Nintendo Switch è esattamente ciò che ci si aspetterebbe dal porting di un titolo di questo genere per l'ibrida Nintendo. Nonostante qualche piccola sbavatura nel frame rate e una serie di glitch ancora non ben identificati (e a noi mai accaduti), resta l'incredibile appagamento del giocare ad un titolo del genere ovunque si voglia. Con un mondo vasto, vivo e caratterizzato, un sistema di combattimento intrigante e una scrittura di altissimo profilo, Pillars of Eternity è ancora oggi un gioco imprescindibile per tutti gli appassionati, forse ancor più di quanto si possa credere. Se siete in astinenza da CRPG, è arrivato il momento di fare una grande scorpacciata, in attesa del secondo capitolo, quello coi pirati!

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw brings a smaller scope and simplified controls to a sometimes intimidating genre, watering down the grandeur of spaceflight, but making it more fun and accessible at the same time. Its repetitive missions and sparse narrative weigh it down, but its fantastically engaging dogfights make it an easy recommendation.

Con numerosas opciones en lo jugable, un modo campaña largo y con un gran trasfondo y un amplio abanico de posibilidades de gestión para nuestro imperio así como un sobresaliente modo multijugador, Age of Wonders Planetfall es un muy recomendado título para los amantes del género aunque quizá demasiado complejo si eres novato en este género de juegos.
