Sin hacer nada nuevo, Tevi es contudente en su propuesta: un metroidvania con toques roleros, bullet hell e incluso un puntito "souslike" (es difícil, pero puedes convertirlo en un infierno), a la que resulta difícil resistirse una vez has mordido el anzuelo.

Like its two playable characters often do, Song of Nunu is content to slide along the surface of its various gameplay elements, never really becoming as deep or engaging as it could. But its accessibility and low level of difficulty are partly what make it a suitable entry point for fans not used to this much running, jumping and even the occasional fighting in their puzzle-filled adventure games. It’s meant to be for everyone, regardless of age or adeptness with these types of experiences. There’s plenty of variety to keep things breezy and fresh, the protagonists have a wonderful dynamic that will surely have you rooting for them to persevere, and there’s enough of a tragedy-tinged narrative underpinning the otherwise whimsically cartoony presentation to keep you motivated to reach the end. Whether you’re a League of Legends diehard or a complete newbie to the frozen Freljord and its world of champions, you’ll find much to enjoy in a game that not only looks and sounds great, but has loads of heart at its core.

The Last Faith è un viaggio fin troppo familiare per gli appassionati dei grandi esponenti dei generi di riferimento dell'opera di Kumi Souls Games, ossia il metroidvania e il soulslike. Eryk e i suoi comprimari non spiccano vividi sulle pagine di una storia indimenticabile, bensì risultano funzionali a una ventina di ore indubbiamente godibili, ma prive di quel mordente e di quell'originalità che hanno portato altre opere videoludiche a brillare in passato. Buono il sistema di combattimento, così come il design dei nemici e delle ambientazioni. The Last Faith, nel complesso, è proprio questo: un gioco buono, ma senza il coraggio necessario per spiccare il volo e imprimersi a fuoco nell'immaginario dei giocatori, già saturo di visioni d'orrore di stampo vittoriano, e forse bisognoso di un qualcosa di nuovo, di diverso, di più originale.

SteamWorld Build is a sufficiently well-designed management game that is initially engaging with a good blend of underground exploration, but it eventually becomes a bit repetitive and is over rather quickly, without much motivation to start up another town.

Steamworld Build è un gioco che da una parte appare come riuscito, considerando il nucleo della serie Steamworld. Dall'altra non convince pienamente se confrontato con i concorrenti diretti. È un buon city builder, ma non fa niente per dire qualcosa di suo nel genere. È un buon clone di Dungeon Keeper, ma paga di fronte a un più strutturato Dungeons 4, per citare un titolo molto recente dello stesso genere. Insomma, ha i suoi spunti, ma a volte le sue parti creano un certo attrito che ne frena la corsa. Sicuramente è un titolo valido e molto curato, ma allo stesso tempo lascia con l'amaro in bocca per la presenza di qualcosa di non detto.
