Due to its lackluster beginner experience, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre might be a little obtuse for players that aren't familiar with asymmetrical games. However, players who have plenty of experience with the genre will find a wonderful treat with this game compared to more prominent titles such as Dead by Daylight, thanks to its potential for more skill-based gameplay.

I have little doubt that in a year or two, when they’ve added more scenarios and maps, fixed the most pressing technical issues, and maybe thought up a better way for newcomers to learn how to play, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will become a staple in my growing asymmetrical horror games library. For now, however, my recommendation comes with a lot of caveats. While the less lopsided take on the asymmetrical horror format definitely works, the shallow number of samey maps can get monotonous pretty quickly, and even with a fair number of playable characters and a solid progression system, I found myself way too comfortable with the three scenarios after just a few hours. Still, the potential behind this format and the reverence for the beloved horror classic it’s based on is clear, even when it does feel a tad half-baked coming out the gates.

Disney Illusion Island is an excellent choice for anyone who classes themselves as a gigantic Disney aficionado or anyone looking for a family-friendly game. However, the enchantment of the experience may start to dwindle like a fading dream due to the over-simplistic gameplay.

Frontier se animó a poco en esta nueva edición, lo cierto es que siguió una fórmula continuista con mínimas variaciones en una nueva entrega que muchos pueden sentir más como una actualización de F1 Manager 2022 que un juego nuevo en toda regla. El título en sí no decepciona, los modos de juego nuevos son un agregado muy interesante y si no posees la edición 2022 y te apasiona la Fórmula 1, te diría que compres el juego ya mismo, si en cambio, ya te hiciste con la primera entrega y estás buscando una mejora brutal y muchísimas novedades, lamento decirte que no las encontrarás aquí.

L'edizione rimasterizzata di Quake 2 è come dovrebbe essere ogni edizione rimasterizzata: rispettosa dell'originale, poco costosa (addirittura gratuita per chi possedeva l'originale su Steam e GOG), ma allo stesso tempo ricca di nuovi contenuti, tali da giustificare il ritorno in gioco anche di chi lo conosce a menadito. Nightdive Studios, in collaborazione con Machinegames e id Software, ha fatto davvero un ottimo lavoro, confermando di essere uno degli studi più indicati per operazioni del genere, tanto che ci spingiamo a definire Quake 2 una delle migliori rimasterizzazioni di sempre. Speriamo che anche altri prendano esempio.
