MythForce es un entretenido roguelite de acción y rol, que destaca por su estética de cartoon de los años 80 y estar muy orientado al juego cooperativo para cuatro. Tiene muchos "males" del subgénero (generación aleatoria de niveles, repetición...), pero si vas a jugarlo con amigos, pasarás un gran rato. En solitario, quizá no tanto.

Eternights deftly captures the essence of growing up, as told through the motions of an action-packed JRPG. Through its storyline and dialogue, the game manages to weave life into this classic genre with the aid of modern-day meme jokes and ‘anime humour’. Its simple but effective combat system, and a smattering of puzzles and mini-games, are entertaining enough to keep you hooked as you watch the plot unfold. Eternights showcases a level of complexity and refinement that is impressive, especially for Studio Sai’s debut title.

Il y a pire que Persona 5 à aller chercher côté influence, mais Eternights ne fait que nous rappeler que le jeu d’Atlus est à part. Il n’a évidemment jamais l’intention de rivaliser avec et il faut rappeler qu’une toute petite équipe est à l’œuvre derrière, mais on ressent parfois que le jeu ne va pas au bout de ses idées et tombe dans le mimétisme, en s’intéressant davantage à la forme de ses influences plutôt qu’à leur fond. En résulte un jeu d’action imparfait mais pas désagréable pour autant, qui aurait sans doute mérité plus de moyens pour aller au bout de ses ambitions.

It’s amazing to see such a passionate debut title from Studio Sai. Eternights elegantly blends in addicting and engaging action combat with dating mechanics while providing beautiful visuals and excellent voice acting. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this small team of developers.
