Rune Factory 3 Special is a reminder of why the series is so near and dear to my heart, but also less of a remaster and closer to a port with a few upgrades sprinkled on top. The visuals are much cleaner and higher resolution. The new dub is good, but you can barely hear it over the chiptune music. This is still a great game, but with less than the bare minimum of quality of life added.

Chants of Sennaar è una produzione originale e piena di ottime idee, artisticamente validissima e solida nel suo gameplay. Al netto di alcune sezioni forse eccessivamente criptiche e di un senso di spaesamento talvolta molto forte, specialmente quando ci si è un po' allontanati dalla base della Torre, Rundisc ha creato un'opera dai tratti fortemente distintivi e ben caratterizzati, con un importante messaggio di fondo: l'edificio del linguaggio è eretto sulle mutevoli fondamenta dell'umano e accedere alle sue profondità e ai suoi misteri è essenziale per raccontare storie, scoprire verità, ma anche manipolare e sopraffare i membri delle nostre comunità. Questa ambiguità di fondo è il cuore pulsante di Chants of Sennaar.

Si vous avez le Xbox Game Pass, la question ne se pose même pas. Grâce au rachat de Bethesda, Microsoft est en capacité de livrer les blockbusters du studio « gratuitement » le jour de leur sortie pour les abonnés à son service de jeu. Un argument de poids pour amener aussi les joueurs pas encore convaincus par le Game Pass. Si vous n’êtes pas abonné au Xbox Game Pass, cela vaut-il le coup d’acheter Starfield ? Oui, sans aucun doute. Par la richesse de son univers, son scénario léché, sa dimension contemplative et une durée de vie que l’on ne pourrait même pas estimer, Starfield figure parmi les jeux les plus palpitants de l’année. Alors oui, il souffre de quelques bugs et imperfections, mais rien qui n’ait vraiment gâché notre plaisir de jouer, trop saisis par la beauté de cette aventure. Une incroyable odyssée spatiale vidéoludique que l’on recommande à tous. À condition de prendre le temps de s’y plonger.

Starfield is a grand interstellar adventure with exciting pockets of exploration, detailed cities, interesting side quests, memorable characters, competent action, and fun ship building. Despite minor issues, it gracefully blends Bethesda’s trademark gameplay with the wonders of space.

On prend Chants of Sennaar pour ce qu'il nous propose : une aventure linguistique rafraichissante parfaitement en phase avec sa période de sortie. Ce court jeu plaira aux amateurs de casse-têtes et aux amoureux des langues, même inventées. Son univers coloré et enchanteur finit de nous convaincre qu'il s'agit d'une merveille réécriture du mythe de Babel.

Chants of Sennaar is as defined by its peaks as its valleys. For every moment of mind-blowing, brilliant puzzle design comes an inversely frustrating moment stymied by '90s adventure game logic. The game's ability to teach a player aspects of a language is awe-inspiring, and its way of guiding players along with as little information as possible is intensely rewarding—when it works. Even though it isn't for everyone (or consistently excellent), it's constantly impressive. An immensely clever and unique game, Chants of Sennaar expertly captures the power of language through its well-crafted cultures and its intricate and perfectly-challenging puzzles, turning the art of translation into a captivating bit of gameplay. By the time you’ll have validated your last glyph, you’ll still be left wanting more, but what we have here still makes for a terrific journey that is not to be missed out on.

I will say that over the decades I have been gaming, several games have tested me, but I’ve always risen to the challenge; I almost put a hole through my TV before beating Isshin the Sword Saint, I bested Portal 2’s co-op mode one-guy-two-controllers-style (little known fact), and I still sometimes wake up in a cold sweat from nightmares of King Dice in the original Cuphead. The only reason I persisted with Enchanted Portals is out of pride for my gaming credentials, but I urge you to not pick up this cursed gauntlet. Regardless of skill, Enchanted Portals is extremely likely to break you, because unlike the title it blatantly apes, the tools you have to beat your foes feel uninspired and inadequate. The challenge can certainly be surmounted with enough trial, error and extreme levels of patience, but it’s also just as honourable to walk away, and definitely a lot more fun.

Enchanted Portals Enchanted Portals è un titolo che non raggiunge la sufficienza perché, semplicemente, non è divertente da giocare. Ci dispiace essere così lapidari, soprattutto perché il titolo è stato sviluppato da due sole persone, però nelle nostra prova di dieci ore ci siamo divertiti genuinamente per un decimo del tempo giocato. E questo, purtroppo, è più indicativo di tutte le analisi e le considerazioni che possiamo fare. PRO Le boss fight sono strutturate abbastanza bene | La mera presentazione audio-visiva è accettabile | CONTRO Impianto ludico totalmente da rivedere | Pessimo sistema di feedback | I livelli run'n'gun sono estenuanti, frustranti in maniera artificiosa |

Baldur’s Gate 3 sur PlayStation 5 n’a rien à envier à Baldur’s Gate 3 sur PC. Larian Studios n’a pas sacrifié son RPG pour le faire tourner sur la console de Sony. Ce jeu de rôle conserve l’intégralité du contenu de la version PC (même la coopération en local via écran partagé) et propose une expérience optimale manette en mains. Les quelques défauts de BG3 sont encore présents (notamment l’interface “pad”), mais pour le reste, c’est un sans faute.
