WireWayis a game that sounds great on paper and looks pretty good at first glance. The process of flicking your way through a series of levels blindly, however, just doesn't work very well.

MX vs. ATV Reflex is another very solid release from Rainbow Studios, though the franchise hasn't changed a ton in the gameplay department despite some pretty hefty on-paper features. The controls are still great, the track design is at the top of its class and there are enough events here to keep you coming back for ages, not to mention a very solid and capable online component. If you're a fan of offroad racing, this is definitely worth a serious look, though don't go in expecting a completely different racing experience.

Hustle King è “semplicemente” un buon gioco di biliardo. Ha tutto quello che è possibile richiedere a questo genere; manca ovviamente quel feeling che solo una stecca reale può garantire. Un prodotto completo e piacevole che garantirà un alto grado di divertimento anche grazie alla modalità online che speriamo di poter testare presto. Hustle King è destinato soprattutto ad un pubblico che ama il genere, non tanto per difetti o lacune, ma perchè il biliardo per sua natura non è una disciplina amata da tutti. È proprio vero: “il biliardo è, sfortunatamente, come una graziosa donna che non occorre vedere spesso se la si vuole trovare ai propri occhi ancora bella”.

Belive it or not, I had fun playing Avatar on Wii. I just can’t be ignorant to the issues at hand. It’s a solid action game, but on the flipside, the storytelling is the pits, the framerate staggers, the co-op two player is sloppy at best… There’s a good game here in Avatar on the Wii, but you’re going to have to deal with a lot of loose ends in order to find it.

Il fatto che il film sia tutto fuorchè indimenticabile non aiuta sicuramente, perché la qualità del lungometraggio è conditio sine qua non per apprezzare questo tie in, ma Planet 51 è il tipo di gioco che può avvicinare al joypad un bambino a digiuno di videogame, e svolge questo compito in maniera dignitosa e soprattutto educata. E’ semplice, ingenuo, accessibile e a suo modo divertente, specie nel multiplayer locale, ma sconta qualche sbavatura ed una realizzazione a tratti insufficiente e sbrigativa, mancando di pochissimo il 6 pieno. Non è sconsigliato a priori, specialmente sotto Natale, ma se avete figli piccoli e non sentite il bisogno di svezzarli in campo videoludico è meglio regalare loro un buon pallone o un’intramontabile barbie.

Serious Sam doesn't try to be anything more than a gory, adrenaline-fueled shooting gallery. For many, that is all that is required for a good time. It does get repetitive, though. There are definitely cheap thrills to be had here but don't expect the substance that modern first-person shooters like Half-Life and BioShock offer. If you just want to kill some stuff, Serious Sam will certainly do.

L'adaptation du film de James Cameron était plutôt prometteuse mais le résultat n'est pas à la hauteur sur Wii. En effet, si le titre est visuellement bluffant, il s'accommode d'un gameplay réellement désastreux.

Dr. House est un jeu d'une grande médiocrité, qui ne parvient à faire valoir aucune qualité ludique et ne se montre pas beaucoup plus convaincant sur le plan scénaristique. S'il reste globalement dans le ton de la série, le seul réel effort semble avoir porté sur la digitalisation des personnages afin de pouvoir illustrer dignement les jaquettes et d'appâter facilement le chaland. Dans le genre roman-photo adapté de série TV médicale, on lui préférera à la rigueur Grey's Anatomy : Le Jeu Vidéo.
