Malgré son apparence quelque peu datée, Legend of Heroes : Trails of Azure réussi à nous faire passer un merveilleux moment. Il ne vous faudra pas moins d'une cinquantaine d'heures pour en venir à bout et facilement le double si vous souhaitez compléter toutes les quêtes annexes disponibles. Avec une histoire particulièrement bien rythmée avec des rebondissements des plus agréables, on aurait aimé découvrir plus de nouveaux environnements. Cela dit, on a aimé redécouvrir Crossbell sous un nouveau jour. On regrettera fortement le côté intimiste du jeu qui risque de rebuter les nouveaux joueurs. Encore une fois, nous vous conseillons fortement de finir le premier opus avant de vous lancer dans cette folle épopée.

Humanity is a beautiful, modern reimagining of Lemmings that feels as esoteric and artsy as Enhance’s previous games, while ambitiously stepping onto new terrain for the action puzzle genre with the pitter-patter of countless little feet. It somehow manages to intermingle platforming, action, and real-time strategy elements with mind-bending finesse, and its open-endedness means I could be sitting here and tinkering with it for years – much like I have with other games with great level creators like Dreams and Little Big Planet. Humanity bursts out of left field with something so unexpectedly brilliant that I can’t help but recommend it to everyone who’s ever enjoyed a puzzle game.

Il ritorno di Tetsuya Mizuguchi, questa volta accompagnato dall'artista Yugo Nakamura, non poteva essere più sorprendente. Humanity è forse il suo miglior gioco dai tempi di Lumines: divertente, lungo il giusto, con tanto di editor, sharing dei livelli e modalità VR ad aspettarci a braccia aperte. E poi è uno spettacolo: lo sono queste catene umane, queste coreografie improvvisate mentre si è alla ricerca di una soluzione, queste cascate di corpi anche un po' tetre se non addirittura disturbanti, queste migliaia di persone che si sfidano a colpi di spade laser tra labirinti e cadute nel vuoto. Ci sono anche dei boss davvero inaspettati. Qui l'umanità si rimette in viaggio, è il punto d'arrivo ci riguarda tutti.

Humanity non è un gioco mainstream, ma in senso buono. Parte da un gameplay vecchio di 30 anni e lo porta direttamente nel futuro, con trovate geniali e quel pizzico di "follia giapponese" che ci sta proprio bene in un gioco così. Un gioco cinico, impegnativo, definibile addirittura "difficile" per i non avvezzi ai puzzle game. Non sarà un successo mondiale e non farà gridare al miracolo chi vuole spremere al massimo l'hardware del proprio PC, ma ha uno stile grafico molto piacevole, che probabilmente attirerà anche qualche non adepto alla setta degli hardcore gamer. Fatevi guidare dal piccolo Shiba Inu, non ve ne pentirete.

Humanity is a wonderfully different puzzle game brimming with ideas. It takes a few simple building blocks and combines them to create some surprisingly complex levels and challenges, keeping you on your toes as it constantly throws in new concepts. While the story mode has some inconsistencies in terms of difficulty, it still manages to keep you hooked all the way. And when you're done, there's an intuitive level editor and browser, in theory giving you all the puzzles you could want. If you're after something a little different, give this a shot — they don't often make them like this anymore.

Resident Evil 2 is an absolutely essential experience for fans of survival horror. We’re not yet at the point where we can confidently recommend purchasing a cloud version of the game on Switch if you’ve got access to a native version on another platform (and as the old-school gamers we are, we may never reach that point), but given that we encountered next to no streaming-related hitches during our time with it, this is a more-than-acceptable choice if it’s the only one available to you. Fans waited years for a remake of Resident Evil 2, and it’s safe to say that the wait was well and truly worth it.

ArcRunner non costituisce una rivoluzione per il genere, né tantomento qualcosa di mai visto sul fronte estetico. Fatta questa dovuta premessa, va riconosciuto che il team di Trickjump Games è riuscito a confezionare un’esperienza tecnicamente priva di sbavature oltre che fluida, personale, divertente e anche cooperativa. Grazie a un time-to-kill molto basso non ci troveremo mai affrontare spugne di proiettili nemiche. Dovremo bensì puntare tutto sulla velocità di esecuzione prima del soverchiamento avversario. Il gameplay immediato e preciso fa di ArcRunner un’esperienza leggera, ma non per questo va presa sottogamba. Sarà necessario prepararsi al meglio fin dall’inizio, prima di ritrovarsi dalla padella alla brace senza mezze misure. Superba la colonna sonora e artisticamente d’effetto il comparto grafico. Tolto un piccolo bug nel multigiocatore e una ridotta variabilità sul fronte statistiche e upgrade, c’è veramente poco di cui lamentarsi. Si tratta quindi di un titolo indie che può farsi spazio fra molti suoi simili senza alcun problema.
