I liked Pokemon Rumble when I started. It was mindless, but it was fun, and playing with other people made it better. But as I progressed through each rank and saw the same levels, and then the same Pokemon, the experience plummeted pretty fast. If you're a pretty big Pokemaniac with a lot of friends (oxymoron, I know), then Pokemon Rumble might keep you entertained enough for a purchase. But note that I'm a pretty big Pokemon nut and even I got bored well before this game was even halfway done. There's just not enough depth to the game to make it interesting to the older Pokemon fans, or really anyone that doesn't squeal excitedly when they see a Pikachu. Honestly I recommend the free downloadable demo since you get most of the experience right there, and it's cheap as free.

While Need for Speed Nitro on Nintendo Wii absolutely screams for a sequel, the DS version is a bit more subdued overall. Despite having more modes, locales, and overall depth to the career mode, the overall experience just doesn’t come together like it should. Drifting is a bit odd, nitro doesn’t fill up as fast as it should, and the lack of mid-air control or automatic stabilization when launching off jumps really hinders the urge to “go big” in EA’s latest racer. The Nitro series has brought some great concepts, added a bit of customization, and is still a fun way to waste time on the go. Anyone looking for a serious racer on DS should look elsewhere though, as Firebrand’s own Create & Race series still leads the pack.

Going back to my first comparison MW2 is the little brother of the family he wants to do everything his big brother does, it’s just such a shame that some of it feels like it just isn’t living up to a good enough standard and hasn’t really moved one since the last edition we had.

Pochi i giri di parole possibili di fronte ad un titolo siffatto: Modern Warfare 2 è un must have. La produzione non presenta poi delle rivoluzioni tali da considerarlo una vera innovazione nel genere, ma se alle perfette dinamiche di gioco, affianchiamo un coinvolgimento del giocatore totale, si ben comprende come siano giustificati tutti i meriti attribuiti a questo titolo già prima dell’uscita ufficiale. Modern Warfare 2 emoziona e coinvolge l’utente, trasportandolo all’interno di una guerra mai prima d’ora così reale.

In definitiva iRacing è un'esperienza online da vivere e da provare per chiunque sia appassionato di simulatori di guida. Il consiglio è iscriversi il primo mese perché potreste innamorarvene perdutamente o capire che non fa per voi. La spesa per la prova tutto sommato è contenuta, tramite la formula Try Us con circa 10€ ognuno può farsi un'idea chiara di cosa gli potrebbe aspettare. Tutto sommato è una simulazione che merita, poco adatta al vasto pubblico (prettamente indirizzato all'ibrido "arcade-simulazione"), che trova come barriera all'entrata oltre il prezzo alto, l'estrema difficoltà, che se per alcuni potrebbe essere frustrante è anche vero che per molti potrebbe rivelarsi assolutamente appagante nella sfida e nella sensazione che dona una volta calati nell'abitacolo e scesi in pista. Risulta essenziale possedere un volante dalle buone caratteristiche con magari una rotazione di 900° tipo Logitech G25.

An interesting first game in the musical genre that tries something a little different. It's actually a nice little game that can be fun to play. The music's pretty good as well as you play farther in. I liked the controller but there could be some improvements in it.

Généreux jeu de massacre, à la croisée des chemins entre fantasy, football américain et jeu de stratégie, Blood Bowl est une petite perle. Terriblement prenant, même lorsqu'on encaisse une série de défaites, le jeu associe un contenu conséquent à des graphismes soignés, le tout serti dans un gameplay redoutablement efficace. Au fil du temps, on finit par s'attacher aux espèces de tarés qui nous servent de joueurs et on ne vise plus qu'une chose : les emmener au firmament des meilleures équipes de Blood Bowl. Autant dire que le soft n'a pas fini de tourner sur nos 360.

NBA 2K10 débarque sur Wii dans une version qui n'a rien perdu du contenu de ses homologues PS3 et Xbox 360. Extrêmement complet, ce titre profite en plus de l'absence de NBA Live cette saison pour s'imposer comme un choix évident aux yeux des amateurs du genre. En revanche, sa réalisation en dents de scie et surtout son gameplay à la fois frustrant et scripté, ne ravira pas les joueurs les plus exigeants. Reste une simulation à tester et pourquoi pas à adopter, faute de mieux.
