Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine needs to be ignored by 95% of Wii owners, and only seriously considered by a fraction of the remaining few -- it's so tough that most people will just get frustrated and want their money back. Those who seek out true challenges, though, and actually enjoy a brutal difficulty level -- not for the sake of showboating, but really, seriously enjoy it -- should be the only ones considering Cybernoid. Good luck, if that's you.

Le attese dei fan nostrani per questo titolo sono ovviamente enormi, e in molti nutrono ancora speranze che il gioco non sia male come l’hanno dipinto i giornalisti e i colleghi d'oltreoceano ormai più di un anno fa. Sfortunatamente bisogna ridimensionare le aspettative di tutti: Tales Of Symphonia Dawn of The New World è un gioco molto datato e poco innovativo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Cullandosi col successo ottenuto dal primo indimenticabile episodio e dal buon esperimento su console Microsoft, Namco Bandai ha realizzato un titolo di mediocre spessore artistico e assolutamente deludente dal punto di vista tecnico. A fronte di una trama tutto sommato buona (anche se molto prolissa) riscontriamo una localizzazione poco precisa ed una qualità della sceneggiatura piuttosto bassa. Dal punto di vista del gameplay poco o niente cambia rispetto al passato: il nucleo forte del gioco rimane il sistema di combattimento in tempo reale, che non si riinnova quasi per nulla e non sfrutta minimamente le mille risorse del sistema di controllo del Wii. Tirando le somme Tales Of Symphonia Dawn Of The New World è un titolo sviluppato con poco impegno, senza la volontà di creare qualcosa di nuovo ed entusiasmante, ma anzi con l’obiettivo assolutamente riuscito di ricalcare il percorso tracciato sei anni fa dal suo predecessore.

Plaisant, reposant, et loin d'être inintéressant MySims Agents permet de passer agréablement un peu de temps seul ou à plusieurs. Son scénario vous emmène dans différents lieux qu'il vous faut examiner afin d'en déceler de nouveaux éléments ou de nouvelles pistes. Clairement simple, mais pas enfantin, ce titre apporte son lot de bonne humeur de par ses graphismes, les tons employés ou les petites surprises que dissimulent ça et là ses décors. A conseiller d'autant plus au fan de The Sims qui passe beaucoup de temps à maquiller son personnage ou à équiper son QG.

Vous l'avez déjà compris, la version DS des Zintrus s'en va rejoindre les rangs des adaptations insipides. Malgré quelques idées intéressantes, le soft ne fait rien de particulier pour inciter le joueur à utiliser les différentes capacités de ses personnages et se perd dans un level design basique et sans âme.

WireWay ne révolutionnera pas le monde du petit jeu vite consommé sur Nintendo DS. Partant d'un principe simpliste mais plutôt fendard, le titre doit malheureusement faire face à des soucis de gameplay bridant ainsi le plaisir de la découverte. On pourra néanmoins s'amuser malgré ces écueils, que ce soit seul ou avec quatre potes, mais au final, le soft de Konami aura du mal à se démarquer de la concurrence, surtout face à Mario, Kirby et toute la clique des productions Nintendo.

Petroglyph Games ed Ubisoft danno in pasto agli amanti dei titoli di strategia un prodotto complesso ma decisamente appagante, che non stravolge ma sorprende, dotato di uno spessore ludico che raramente possiamo ammirare in opere del genere: la formula tipica dei giochi di carte sembra infatti andare insospettabilmente a braccetto con la classica struttura dei giochi basati sui turni, per un risultato finale che ha dell’invidiabile. In definitiva quindi, Panzer General: Allied Assault vale decisamente i miseri 800 Microsoft Points necessari all’acquisto. La guerra, quindi, è nelle vostre mani: mai come stavolta anche in senso letterale.

Beaterator non è un videogame, ma un vero e proprio sequencer che ci permette di creare brani musicali utilizzando le centinaia di loop disponibili o creandone di nuovi in assoluta libertà. Mettere questo tipo di tecnologia al servizio dei possessori di PSP significa far fare alla console portatile Sony un deciso passo in avanti nella direzione della multimedialità e delle applicazioni extraludiche, fornendo a tantissima gente uno strumento potente e versatile per dare sfogo alla propria creatività musicale. Il prodotto Rockstar si adatta meglio alla musica elettronica che non al pop o al rock, chiaramente, ma soddisfa in ogni caso le esigenze di chi ha voglia di comporre qualcosa "al volo" o non può permettersi l'hardware e il software necessari per fare le stesse cose su PC. La possibilità di salvare i propri lavori senza limitazioni e di esportarli in formato MIDI o WAV chiude il cerchio di una produzione sicuramente ambiziosa e coraggiosa, che tutti gli aspiranti compositori dovrebbero provare. Anche se magari di teoria musicale sanno poco o nulla.

Derrière son petit côté mignonnet et coloré, Mini Ninjas est finalement un titre relativement riche qui plaira non seulement aux plus jeunes, mais aussi aux adultes qui ont su conserver un peu de leur âme d'enfant.

Star Trek D-A-C definitely benefits from the inclusion of the single-player Survival mode. The multiplayer modes were all that were available when the game was first released on XBLA earlier this year, and the package feels more robust now. Also, whereas we previously couldn't tweak game settings, we now can customize multiplayer matches. It's very cool that Paramount and Naked Sky listened to feedback from the first release and actually improved the game. Originally this was something you could have a few hours of fun with. Now, we reckon you can extend those fun times to a few days.

Academy of Champions: Soccer is a simple game meant for simple gamers. No, I’m not calling you stupid for liking Academy of Champions, but the gameplay experience is certainly tuned for someone looking for arcade-style soccer. My biggest issue, and this is going to be a real problem for people, is that the game gets monotonous after too short a time. The story mode should expand much more than it does and the gameplay is a little too plain to be able to support the boring structure. That said, if you’re looking for a quick and fun soccer game for the kids, look no further than Academy of Champions: Soccer.
