Keine Frage: Als Fanservice schlägt Dissidia ein wie eine Bombe. Hier sind Helden und Bösewichte aus zehn Rollenspielklassikern in einem Spiel vereint, die nicht nur nach Belieben aufeinander los gelassen werden können, sondern im Fall der Helden auch noch alle maßgeschneiderte Story-Abenteuer erleben dürfen. Die Handlung ist für ein Final Fantasy zwar eher dürftig, für ein Beat’em-Up aber trotz einiger Wiederholungen ausreichend. Das Angebot an Spielmodi sorgt dank motivierender Rollenspielelemente, zahlreicher Individualisierungsmöglichkeiten, Massen an freischaltbaren Extras und kurzweiligen WLAN-Duellen für monatelange Beschäftigung. Man vermisst lediglich einen Online-Modus oder einen alternativen Story-Modus für die Schurkenfraktion. Den größten Kritikpunkt stellen allerdings die Auseinandersetzungen an sich dar: Die Angriffsmöglichkeiten sind überschaubar, das Tempo eher behäbig, die 3D-Schauplätze ungemein trostlos, die Kameraführung alles andere als optimal. Zudem wirkt die Steuerung zum Teil überladen, was bei manchen Tastenkombinationen immer wieder ungewollte Manöver auslösen kann. Trotz taktischer Facetten wie Mutangriffen, Beschwörungen, Verwandlungen, interaktive Umgebungen und situationsbezogene Boni durch Ausrüstungsgegenstände bieten die Duelle auf Dauer einfach zu wenig Dynamik und Abwechslung. Als Prügelspiel hinterlässt Dissidia daher eher einen durchwachsenden Eindruck, das aufwändige und motivierende Drumherum gleicht die spielerischen Defizite aber überraschend gut aus. Indubbiamente i tre giochi presenti all'interno di questo cofanetto sono quanto di meglio ha offerto il mercato in passato. Ancora oggi le meccaniche di gioco risultano sorprendentemente fresche e appaganti. Gli aggiornamenti sono stati decisamente ben realizzati e danno una maggiore facilità di fruizione, mentre il passaggio al 16:9 risulta essere una feature decisamente gradita quanto obbligatoria. Ciò non toglie che ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di più da Nintendo, soprattutto alla luce del fatto che si tratta di un'edizione speciale e da collezionisti. Una statuetta, un disco di bonus con dei filmati sullo sviluppo, una raccolta su cd della colonna sonora o qualche altro gadget avrebbero dato un gusto meno da semplice operazione commerciale al tutto. C'è comunque da dire che la raccolta esce al prezzo di un singolo gioco e quindi torna valido ciò che è stato scritto in sede di recensione. Mettendo quindi tutto sul piatto della bilancia il voto non può che essere molto alto per i tre titoli e per le migliorie apportate, ma cala un po' per la pochezza dell'edizione speciale che avrebbe richiesto qualche attenzione in più.

Les références aux Beatles vont bien au-delà des 45 morceaux de base puisque c'est toute leur carrière qui a été dessinée avec un certain talent, s'appuyant sur de nombreuses photos et vidéos, publiques ou non, de MM. Lennon, McCartney, Harrison et Starr. Seul le prix astronomique du tout Rock Band Beatles pourra faire reculer certains joueurs...

The Beatles: Rock Band isn't for everyone. Like, say, people who don't care about The Beatles. If that's you, then move along. For those who have a love or even just a fondness for the Fab Four, Harmonix has created a fantastic tribute. It won't teach you the full history of the world's most celebrated band nor give you even a quarter of their extraordinary catalogue of music, but it's still great. The Beatles went out of their way to do new things. So it's no surprise that a Beatles game doesn't feel at all like the traditional music title. It's special. What Beatles fan would want it any other way? Of course, it's hard to believe The Beatles would want those fans playing with an inferior guitar. The Limited Edition bundle is overpriced and the guitar is one of the worst in terms of playability that Harmonix has made. For this reason, the $250 bundle gets a much lower score than the game by itself.

The Beatles: Rock Band is very much so geared towards fans of the band. Some aspects might not mean much to you if you don’t know the band very well, but you will still have fun playing through the songs themselves. Though the flaws of a purely Beatles track list and star power obscuring notes drag things down a bit, the game is really an example of a band-themed game done right. It puts the band up on display while at the same time delivering an experience styled accurately around the band without sacrificing any gameplay in doing so.

Le jeu seul ne vaut pas mieux que Sonic 3 (et en soi, c’est déjà pas mal !). Mais en combinant les deux, on obtient facilement un des meilleurs jeux de plates-formes toutes générations confondues ! Le seul défaut qu’on pourrait lui trouver, c’est sa vulgaire boîte en carton qui a bien du mal à traverser le temps !
