If you have a puny, atrophied brain, spending some time with Brain Challenge will make you feel better about it. The graphics aren't much to look at but the menus are sharp and easy to navigate, and the controls are intuitive. There are some issues with the tutorials and multiplayer, but the basics of a decent educational puzzler are here.

Silverfall sur PSP n'a pas à rougir face à la version PC. Le jeu est quelque peu simplifié et se veut plus accessible, mais il n'a rien perdu de la richesse de son univers et des nombreuses possibilités d'évolution du personnage. Les fans du genre les plus endurcis passeront facilement sur ses quelques défauts, les autres sont invités à l'essayer avant de l'adopter.

No More Heroes è una perla rara. Qui e lì ruvida. Qua e là non perfettamente rotonda. Ma trovarne un’altra altrettanto lucente pare proprio difficile. E non solo sulle sponde di Nintendo Wii. Se solo il team avesse optato per una struttura diversa dall’hub che è la città di Santa Destroy, se solo avesse spremuto in maniera più decorosa le peculiarità di Wii si sarebbe gridato al capolavoro assoluto. Ma anche così, menomato da una censura che ha trasformato i fiumi di sangue USA in cumuli di pixel bruciacchiati, questo titolo seminale merita di entrare nella vostra collezione personale. E ricordatevi di fare una capatina in bagno, prima di spegnere la console.

Overall MLB 2K8 is a good entry in the PSP library of baseball titles. If faced with the option of buying this or MLB 08: The Show, do yourself a favor and choose The Show. Not to say that 2K8 doesn’t have redeeming qualities, but there’s no question that the best baseball experience on Sony’s portable system resides in the first-party edition. If MLB 2K8 wants to keep up with the competition it’ll need to bring more to the table next year than improved gameplay and a new view for pitching.

The PS2 port of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is passable but I can't strongly recommend it to anyone. Even though the gameplay in its purest form is enjoyable, there are too many problems bundled on top that will dilute your enjoyment. Ratchet fans will be much better off playing a different iteration of the series. Even though there is a significant price difference, PS3 owners looking to try out the Ratchet experience should absolutely play Tools of Destruction instead -- I was immensely pleased with it. Otherwise, Size Matters should only be played by devoted, hardcore enthusiasts who couldn't play the original version on the PSP.

Ninja Reflex is a decent concept, but it’s just so insultingly small as a packaged Wii game. There are six events, a couple mode changes within the games, multiplayer for each, and that’s basically it. Instead of offering a more robust experience, however (even Carnival Games, also $40, has 25 minis) this feels more like a WiiWare game, and less like something that should be sold at nearly full price. Everything from the simple, charming interface to the basic – almost gimmick – nature of the games absolutely screams downloadable content, as there’s no reason to pick this up for anything more than $20 max. If Electronic Arts was smart, the company would start talking to Nintendo now about the option of putting this on WiiWare for launch, or at least start working on a sequel to deliver in downloadable format. That, or offer us a package that’s worth the cash. Ninja Reflex is a good idea, it’s fun, but there’s less depth here than in Raving Rabbids, Carnival Games, or even Wii Play. The line needs to be drawn somewhere on Wii, and hopefully consumers will do just that with Ninja Reflex.
