Operation: Vietnam just has an awful lot of setbacks working against it, and working against its fun factor. The concept of a squad-based action/shooter done in a style similar to some of the older classics like Contra and Ikari Warriors is a fair one, but the frustrations of control and the indistinct visuals take away any potential there might have been. What you're left with is a game that's just mediocre – but the foundation is there. If this design's issues were addressed, and perhaps a multiplayer option was introduced to give it a bit more weight, a future Operation: Somewhere title could be worth checking out.

Corruption may not be much of an evolution of the series, and it's not without its flaws, but remains one of, if not, the biggest reason to own a Wii.

Mega Man ZX Advent will appeal to a lot of Nintendo DS owners -- especially those who played and enjoyed the first title. It's a fairly long and deep experience, though it's by no means a perfect game. However, the good certainly outweighs the bad, and we can't help but recommend this game as a result. It's got a great feel to it, successfully melding together many different genres into an enjoyable gaming experience. Give it a go and see for yourself. It's a game that feels like Mega Man X with an environment more akin to a handheld Castlevania title. There's nothing wrong with that. Add in two playable characters, a load of optional collectables, and a great environment, and you got yourself a rock solid game.

Oh Conan, you had me at topless girls and promptly lost me when the Cimmerian started using magic. This is as unashamedly a God of War rip-off as I have seen so far in gaming. That solicits a comparison between the two games; Conan doesn't fare well. God of War is a superior game in all facets. Even without the direct comparison -- even if you can pretend GoW never existed and this is somehow all new -- nothing is done exceptionally well. The graphics, the combat, the design, the sound are all just okay. With a final boss battle that is as painful as a trip to the proctologist, Conan is a game best rented for a one-day lark. It's certainly not worth spending $60 on.

With so many other Japan-only, unreleased-elsewhere titles in its own first-party back catalog, it's a bit puzzling to place why Nintendo would decide to make Ninja JaJaMaru-kun, an abstract arcade action title developed by Jaleco, its third Import category release. If you're a major fan of the fact that Nintendo's finally offering some of these previously-unseen titles on our shores, then it might be worth your while to continue supporting the practice by dropping 600 Wii Points on a download here. But most players would be better off not worrying about this little ninja, because Ninja JaJaMaru-kun, while cute, doesn't have the depth to hold your interest long.

As an overall series, Touch Detective has a lot going for it. The game design is innovative for the hardcore, yet still very traditional, the style is moody and pleasing to the eye, the musical composition and audio experience gives off a great feel, and the characters are unique. What Touch Detective is still missing, however, is the ability to really connect with the gamer, as puzzles – while better this time around than last year – still rely more on hitting a specific event trigger than actually figuring out direct, challenging puzzles. Touch Detective is all about obscurity and over-the-top situations, but there’s a fine line between quirky storytelling and clumsy gameplay, and unfortunately Touch Detective still sits somewhere in the middle. The experience can be very entertaining at times, but then instantly shift to become a chore of a game, as you’ll switch from manipulating AI or piecing together items and treasures to desperate clicking of any/every possible object in the world in an attempt to activate whatever event it is you need to progress the game. It’s a step in the right direction, but Touch Detective 2 1/2 still has a ways to go in achieving classic point-and-click status.

Culpa Innata est l'exemple typique du jeu qui aurait pu devenir un hit entre les mains d'une équipe expérimentée disposant d'un budget conséquent. Malheureusement, Momentum n'a pas eu les moyens de ses ambitions et nous livre donc un jeu très perfectible sur la forme, mais réussi sur le fond. C'est toujours mieux que l'inverse.
