Sonic 1 we called impressive. Sonic 2 we labeled great. Sonic 3, though, is the best of them all – and deservingly earns the highest score of the trilogy. But we recognize that the issue of its connection to the so-far-unreleased Sonic & Knuckles is a point of contention, and it may make even serious fans want to wait a while before investing 800 Wii Points here. If that's you, we understand. But we're going to give Sonic the benefit of the doubt this time and stand by the quality of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, even as a standalone game. Because compared to the trash he's been involved in lately, just Sonic 3 alone is pure gaming gold.

Worms: Open Warfare 2 is a well-made game and deserves the attention of any Worms fan. The impressive collection of modes and customizable options, including an extensive level editor, gives you plenty of play time out of this single UMD, and the amount of strategy that stems from the weapon set diversity is stellar. Finally, Worms just has a good sense of humor and the quirky animated cutscenes are a testament to this mentality. If you want a very good (though somewhat flawed) strategy game, this is certainly one to look out for. Just be careful of Super Sheep... they're vicious little critters.

15 years after its debut and subsequent packaging with the Genesis console itself, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 holds up as not only one of the best games available on Sega's memorable 16-bit machine, but also a worthy addition to any XBLA library. A concern that exists, among both 360 and Wii gamers, is that Sega will eventually release the Sonic and Knuckles versions of the later Sonic games, which could render this version of Sonic 2, as well as the Wii Virtual Console's versions, useless. Still, Sonic 2 is only 400 Microsoft Points (US$5), making it a must-buy for any Sega fan at the current time. And by "any Sega fan," what I mean is, anyone who enjoys good videogames.

Les chiffres parlent pour nous : Sonic the Hedgehog 2 est le jeu le plus vendu sur la Megadrive. Les développeurs de chez SEGA ont su récupérer ce qui a fait le succès du premier volet (gameplay, level design) et ont ajouté une bonne dose de nouveautés. Un excellent jeu, qui encore aujourd’hui fait figure de référence en matière de jeu de plates-formes en 2D.

Rogue Galaxy è un gioco particolare, atipico, rivolto ad una categoria di giocatori ben precisa. Se cercate un action gdr basato più sul combattimento che sull'esplorazione Rogue Galaxy rappresenta più di un'alternativa; se al contrario ricercate una trama ampiamente sviluppata, un gameplay vario accompagnato da un'esplorazione ricca di segreti e side quest allora è meglio che vi rivolgiate altrove. Rogue Galaxy è un buon gdr ma con limiti strutturali ben precisi che sicuramente sarebbe stato migliore qualora non fosse stato gravato da alcune scelte infelici.

Fatal Inertia's item selection and swappable course circuits and modes simply aren't enough to elevate this game from run-of-the-mill to classic, arcade racing fun. If the game's premise wasn't so based on delivering a sensation of intense speed, the end result would have resulted in a much higher recommendation. As it stands, arcade racing fans are advised to wait for Burnout Paradise to convey everything that KOEI's title was supposed to bring to the table.

Eledees soffre dei soliti problemi di molti altri titoli di lancio: porta con sè molte idee interessanti e una realizzazione artistica di rilievo, che però risultano sviliti da una struttura di gioco troppo superifciale e ripetitiva. Se pur il sistema di controllo è ottimo, offrendo la dimostrazione di quanto profondo possa essere l'interazione tra noi e il mondo virtuale, non riesce a tradurre queste idee in un gameplay altrettanto sfaccettato e appagante. Divertente e longevo per la raccolta di Eledees, ma ripetitivo per l'impostazione dei livelli, pecca anche nell'offrire un'esigua varietà di azioni. Le modalità multiplayer e quella di scambio online si presentano altrettanto interessanti, ma destinate a ricadere all'interno di una ripetitività di fondo che, purtroppo, non consente a Eledees di svettare quanto a qualità complessiva. Il ritardo della conversione PAL lo ha ulteriormente penalizzato, in quanto la sua natura di gioco dimostrativo delle potenzialità del remote sarebbe stata sicuramente più apprezzata mesi addietro, nel periodo del lancio della console stessa.
