Wild Hearts S rompe la racha de buenos ports para Nintendo Switch 2 con un título que da una de cal, y una de arena: mejora el rendimiento respecto a lo visto en otras plataformas, aun sin alcanzar 60 fps fijos (30 en portátil, 40-60 en dock), a costa de un importante bajón gráfico que puede ser un impedimento para algunos jugadores.

Wild Hearts S is a satisfying, if unspectacular, addition to the Switch 2’s early library. The monster hunting and equipment building is just as rewarding and addictive as you would hope, and there’s tons of replayability here whether you’re playing solo or with friends.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is still the best entry in the series, but the new content of the Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV re-release adds frustrating limitations and strange design decisions to what was otherwise a polished, customizable experience. Its camera-focused content is pretty forgettable, but there are a few worthwhile additions like the great mouse control minigames and interesting new rulesets. However, it’s hard to enjoy them to the fullest due to how this content is divided across two separate versions that don’t talk to each other at all. Core features like achievements, unlockables, minigame records, and even rulesets are locked behind the Switch 1 version, which shockingly got zero performance or resolution updates like the Jamboree TV portion did. If the new stuff had been seamlessly integrated with the old under one umbrella, this would be a slam dunk. But as it stands, if you already own Jamboree, I only recommend upgrading if you’re really interested in the new content. And if you’re looking to buy Jamboree for the first time, it’s not like you’ll be disappointed by what’s here, but the things that Jamboree TV adds hardly feel worth the price when you could just pick up the cheaper Switch 1 version instead.

La mise à jour Jamboree TV de Super Mario Party Jamboree est une démo technique camouflée des capacités de la Nintendo Switch 2. Elle apporte une dose de fun supplémentaire à un jeu déjà excellent, mais n’est pas la mise à jour majeure promise par Nintendo. Jamboree TV, qui prend la forme d’une mini-application à lancer séparément, ne contient aucun mode révolutionnaire. Les 20 nouveaux mini-jeux sont cool et exploitent parfaitement le mode souris des Joy-Con 2, le micro ou la caméra vendue en option, mais n’apportent rien au jeu. Il s’agit avant tout d’un moyen de montrer ce que la Switch 2 peut faire, plutôt que d’une véritable évolution du jeu phare. À elle seule, l’extension Jamboree TV mérite certainement une note autour des 6/10, surtout vu son prix élevé (19,99 euros, soit le double du Switch 2 Welcome Tour qui est plus complet). Mais au vu de l’excellence du jeu original, un incontournable de la Nintendo Switch, une note de 7/10 semble plus justifiée. Mais l’extension sera vite oubliée.

Killing Floor 3 is a polished sequel that feels both smartly streamlined and somewhat hollow. Its co-op shooting feels great, the classes are distinct, and my teammates and I had a good time blasting through Zed hordes together while the fun lasted. But with only eight maps, six classes, and a backwards weapon progression system that’s already in need of some tweaking, this comes across more like a solid Early Access build than a full release. The foundation is there, and if Tripwire keeps adding content like it did with Killing Floor 2, this could become something special. Right now, though, there’s at least enough for a weekend's worth of fun.

Un coraggio che passa attraverso la scelta di un nuovo stile estetico nonché di un sistema di classi che avvicina il titolo agli hero shooter, pur preservandone le caratteristiche ludiche fondamentali che hanno decretato il successo della serie. Sanguinoso ed adrenalinico, la terza invasione degli zed presta tuttavia il fianco a qualche critica a causa di un'offerta contenutistica di lancio un po' ridotta e di alcune scelte che potrebbero interdire i fan più tradizionalisti. Con l'incoraggiante promessa di un supporto costante e duraturo, gli sviluppatori potrebbero regalare al pubblico un'esperienza imperdibile: incrociamo le dita! On est vraiment ravi d’écrire que Wuchang: Fallen Feathers est un excellent représentant du genre inspiré de la trilogie Dark Souls. Armé d’un habillage diablement réussi, ce RPG développé par un studio chinois s’appuie sur une exploration addictive et un gameplay ultra-profond pour convaincre. Et, il convainc. Il y a pourtant tant d’éléments sur lesquels Wuchang: Fallen Feathers pouvait se planter. À l’arrivée, on tient là l’un des meilleurs soulslike depuis bien longtemps, avec un équilibre bien tenu, des idées bien pensées et une structure bien construite. C’est assez rare pour être souligné.

Le monde superbe, vaste et riche de Wuchang : Fallen Feathers avait « seulement » besoin d'un gameplay léché pour trouver sa place parmi les meilleurs Souls-like. Malheureusement, une accumulation de petits défauts dans le système de combat empêchent le jeu de Leenzee de prétendre à ce statut. Le plus gros problème est la lourdeur de Wuchang, aussi bien pour attaquer que pour se déplacer et se soigner. Les boss, pour la plupart, sont capables d'attaquer frénétiquement, ce qui crée de gros soucis d'équilibrage. L'excitation qu'est censée procurer un combat de boss dans un Souls-like se fait donc trop rarement ressentir, même une fois la victoire acquise. Finalement, Wuchang : Fallen Feathers emprunte plus ou moins le même chemin que Lords of the Fallen : une réalisation de haute volée, mais trop de maladresses pour en faire un grand nom du genre.
