Blazing Angels is a decent first flying game on the Xbox 360. Online multiplayer is its strongest point; the single-player campaign quickly becomes monotonous because of the lack of challenge and the unbalanced "squad-based" gameplay. Visually, Blazing Angels hits, and misses, but it looks good in general. It would be a good idea to crank up the sound for the cinematic score and the outstanding sound effects if it weren't for Joe continually blathering about your busted fuel line. The controls are simple and intuitive and anyone can jump in and learn the game in a few minutes. Flying through the historical battles are fun the first time, but after you complete the game you'll feel more of a sense of relief than elation because, without any real story, the game lacks emotional appeal.

Sous le vernis éblouissant d'une mise en scène qui laisse pantois, Blazing Angels peine pourtant à passionner par son gameplay trop convenu et sa difficulté inexistante. Il n'en demeure pas moins un titre qui vaut la peine d'être essayer pour son côté spectaculaire.

Surprise de taille sur une PSP en manque de concepts, Exit est un peu le titre que beaucoup attendaient pour justifier l'achat d'une PSP. Intelligent, novateur sur bien des points et disposant d'une ambiance unique au caractère fascinant, le soft de Taito fait oublier les constantes réutilisations d'anciennes trouvailles de ce studio japonais. Réussissant pratiquement à égaler l'addiction d'un Lumines, Exit est à n'en pas douter une acquisition sage pour qui désire embellir sa ludothèque. Attention toutefois à l'essayer avant l'achat afin de vérifier son rapport au principe général du titre. Si tout ce qui a été énoncé vous charme, n'hésitez pas.

Per tirare una qualche conclusione, Call of Cthulhu è una vera perla rara: oltre a portare, con le sue innovazioni, una ventata di freschezza nel genere, o meglio nei generi, si tratta di uno di quei insoliti giochi in grado di paralizzare dalla paura il giocatore, merito anche della scelta stilistica di sfruttare la visuale in prima persona con l’assenza totale di un HUD: più di una volta vi verrà da distogliere lo sguardo dallo schermo e in molte occasioni l’adrenalina sarà così alta da dover mettere in pausa il gioco per qualche istante, solo per riprendervi dalla tensione. Un capolavoro del brivido, talmente ben realizzato e costruito, da far dimenticare completamente qualche piccola pecca grafica.

Laissant au départ espérer de très bonnes choses, Street Riders se laisse néanmoins emporter dans une crise d'originalité et de renouvellement. Si le soft reste beau, diffusant quelques bonnes idées, il ne parvient pas à accrocher et sombre rapidement dans une certaine monotonie. Dynamique et plein de verve, il pourra certes séduire les véritables mordus d'ambiance gangsta et de belles voitures, mais laissera ceux cherchant un simple divertissement sur le bord de la route. Loin d'être totalement mauvais, le soft d'Ubisoft manque juste de maturité. Espérons qu'une suite rattrape ces erreurs.

Questo Taito Legends Vol 2 è, per certi versi, superiore ai suoi predecessori, ma sotto altri punti di vista ci sono delle raccolte decisamente migliori. In questa ci sono ben trentaquattro giochi, molti dei quali sono tecnicamente validi e ben pochi sono assolutamente riservati ai veri nostalgici, ma la gran parte di questi giochi sono semplicemente “buoni titoli”, nessuno dei quali ha veramente fatto la storia del mercato arcade. C'è, per esempio, Bonze Adventure, che è nato per contrastare il dominio assoluto di Ghosts'n Goblins, c'è Liquid Kids, un ottimo platform, ma uno dei tanti che si sono visti in quel periodo; poi c'è Darius, l'ennesimo capitolo di una saga nata per contrastare R-Type e Gradius... Insomma, ottimi giochi, ma poche pietre miliari: se cercate una raccolta che contenga i punti cruciali dell'evoluzione del mercato arcade fareste meglio a visionare prima Taito Legends Vol.1 o Capcom Classics Collection vol. 1. Se siete già in possesso di quese compilation oppure volete un prodotto meno dedicato al puro retrogamin provate Taito Legends vol 2 tranquillamente: c'è di che diverirsi.

FIFA Street 2 has problems left from its predecessor. It improves some areas, specifically in the areas of animation and overall presentation, but the actual gameplay gets no special treatment. The mini-games offer little in terms of replay value and the head-to-head multiplayer mode is pretty basic. If this had been a portable version of the console FIFA Street 2, then it'd be a whole different (and much better) beast.
