Scrap Riders tente un mélange surprenant de de point & click et beat’em all et ça marche. Les puzzles sont plutôt agréables et les phases d’action sont maîtrisées et très dynamiques. Le souci, c’est que le jeu est aussi extrêmement bavard, ne raconte pas grand chose et enchaîne les vannes lourdingues et/ou gênantes (on aime ou on n'aime pas), quand il ne nous colle pas des références sous le nez comme si on n’était pas capable de les remarquer. En prime, le pixel art nuit bien souvent à la lisibilité en exploration et en combat. Résultat, l’expérience n’est clairement pas aussi excitante qu’espérée et les bonnes idées sont étouffées par un manque de finesse générale .

Με την όμορφη μουσική του και την ωραία, κωμική αισθητική τόσο των χαρακτήρων του όσο και του κόσμου του, θα βρείτε τον εαυτό σας να σιγοτραγουδάει στο ρυθμό της μουσικής του Ship of Fools και να βγάζετε κραυγές νίκης μαζί με το πλήρωμά σας. Μπορεί να είναι ανόητοι, αλλά είναι γενναίοι ανόητοι!

The point-and-click genre is one that has fairly rigid foundations, with the bulk of games not straying too far from what we’ve come to expect over the years. With Children of Silentown, Elf Games and Luna2 have created a gorgeous dark world that looks marvellous and its unique puzzles are commendable, and although the narrative didn’t fully satisfy me, it’s one I would recommend adventure game fans suss out at some point.

Other than a couple of small technical issues, however, the game is very enjoyable. I especially loved the characters and their different roles in this quirky city. As an animal lover, I was immediately drawn in by the quest of saving Can Dog, and each time he slipped away or something happened to him, I let out loud outbursts of desperate yelps. While it is admittedly a bit short and the puzzles are anything but original, Boxville is a truly beautiful game about friendship and the importance of being nice to others, regardless of whether it is people or cans.

mooth controls, a varied and inclusive cast of characters, and a phenomenal amount of things to do make this such an easy 10/10 for me. The only downside I can think of is that it has an ending.

Cannon Dancer: Osman is a game that can be completed in a short amount of time. It is action-packed, with tons of martial arts attacks and enemies to take on. The story doesn’t make much sense, so if a good story is important to you, you won’t find that here.

In a way Blacktail reminds me a lot of Fable: The Lost Chapters, a flawed game I love dearly, specifically in the way it places emphasis on your morality and then fails to follow through, narratively speaking. Like Fable though, Blacktail is an enjoyable experience despite its noticeable shortcomings. The exploration, the traversal interlinked with combat, and some humorous quests are in fact the brick house that stands strong. Blacktail does an admirable job building something unique of the bricks that came before, and most importantly captures the essence of what makes fairy tales so iconic…child murder.

Fresh Start Cleaning Simulator prova a fare del suo, con un simulatore che più di pulizia riguarderebbe il risanamento e il recupero ambientale. Per quanto la spazzatura non manchi, alla fine della fiera i cumuli risulteranno sempre e solo degli “ostacoli” a una natura bisognosa di aiuto. Anche se alcune specie tipicamente “protette” appariranno con il risanamento, tutto il resto sarà fin troppo preimpostato, dandoci la sensazione di star ripulendo un presepe, più che un ambiente naturale. Fortunatamente i potenziamenti verranno in nostro soccorso per rendere più funzionale il nostro lavoro, a patto di fare attenzione agli svariati inciampi tecnici che evidenziano uno sviluppo frettoloso e poco attento. Quelli di Chicken Launcher è un titolo che fa della tranquillità e della semplicità il suo primo obiettivo. Sfortunatamente però non riesce sempre a pieno nell’intento, lasciando ai giocatori un prodotto “finito”, ma con un’impostazione fin troppo lineare e svogliata nei contenuti. Se riuscirete a chiudere un occhio sul lato tecnico, l’esperienza potrà regalarvi qualche ora di riposo tra un titolo e l’altro, prima di finire riciclato anch’esso. Una maggiore cura generale sarebbe stata apprezzata, soprattutto nel sopracitato lato tecnico. Dopotutto, nello stesso ambito abbiamo titoli molto simili realizzati con qualità superiore (e per giunta free-to-play) come Island Saver. Consigliato solo a un pubblico smaliziato con poche o nessuna pretesa.
