Que de notes disparates. Conflict Desert Storm aurait pu mieux faire, c'est certain. Je ne saurais vous dire s'il tiendra face à ses futurs concurrents (on verra ça plus tard, y a le temps) mais en attendant il reste, malgré ses quelques défauts, un jeu bien sympathoche, idéal pour qui veut s'initier à l'art de l'action/tactique. Il crée presque un genre avec sa visée bourrine : l'action/tactique/arcade. Un bon entraînement pour préparer l'arrivée de SOCOM. Et puis les titres du genre sont tellement rares sur console.

Un titre qui accuse malheureusement un sacré coup de vieux et qui souffre désormais d'un gameplay un peu trop limité pour tenir le joueur en haleine très longtemps. Dommage car l'on passe quand même d'agréables moments avec Speedball 2 notamment grâce à ses différents modes de jeux et ses possibilités en multijoueur.

I wouldn't call myself a dedicated fan to the sport, but I do appreciate good simulations and arcadey takes on racing. From Gran Turismo to Burnout, I often find I can't pull myself away from the TV. Even as a kid, I remember I fell in love with a game called Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road, which I'm reminded of when playing 4x4 Evo 2. It used to have a similar setup where you earn all this cash to buy yourself better parts for your big, bad 4x4. So, naturally, I was pretty excited by the sheer volume of cars and parts you could buy in 4x4 Evo 2. Setting up my vehicle was pretty entertaining, but as soon as I began racing in my career I just found the races to be generally boring. The only reason I wanted to press on was to earn more cash to upgrade my vehicle. Since the core of the game is racing, after all, and not purchasing cars and parts, I can't say I recommend investing in 4x4 Evo 2. Only the most mouth-frothingly fantatical 4x4 devotee would be rewarded by what it has to offer.

Un titre qui rend finalement un bien piètre hommage à Bruce Lee tant son gameplay se veut primaire et limité. Même la diversité des coups n'y fait rien, les deux pauvres modes de jeux sont d'un intérêt limité, en clair, à éviter.

Alors si j'étais méchant je dirais que quand je vais aux toilettes en ressortant, je tire la chasse. D'autres quant à eux récupèrent ce qu'ils y ont laissé et l'envoient sous presse pour que ça ressorte enrubanné avec une jolie boîte qui ferait presque envie. Comme je suis gentil, je dirais simplement qu'il faut peut-être les pardonner d'avoir pondu une horreur pareille, ils avaient la licence, il fallait bien qu'ils en fassent quelque chose... Dommage pour la BD et la série dont ça s'inspire.
