Black Future '88 is op zich een prima game met toffe momenten doordat je een flinke tijdsdruk ervaart, maar doordat de game onafgemaakt voelt, zijn er ook zaken die frustreren. Door de uitgebreide selectie aan wapens en de uitnodiging om vaker te spelen en meer te ontdekken, is het een goed tussendoortje.

Casi sin hacer ruido y sin levantar una gran expectación, Soul Hackers 2 se destapa como una de las grandes sorpresas de la temporada en materia JRPG. Tomando como modelo la saga Shin Megami Tensei, este spin-off nos sumerge en una aventura maravillosamente representada en todos sus aspectos, desde los personajes a la narrativa o su apartado estético. Una producción que además tiene el detalle de haber llegado subtitulada al español y que posee una extensión considerable. Un título más que atractivo a poco que te interese el género del rol.

Soul Hackers 2 is a by the books turn-based JRPG that doesn’t do anything particularly memorable nor offensive. The story is lacking in scope, dungeons are bland, and there’s questionable design choices to tried and true systems. It doesn’t help that there’s less-than-stellar load times on the current generation consoles, especially considering the amount of traveling that’s required. With that said, there’s decent character development, a fantastic combat system and of course all your favorite demons and creatures you’d expect, and then some. On top of that, the visual aesthetic (at least outside of dungeons) is tremendously vibrant, bringing your screen to life in the most enticing way possible. In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game, but it comes with numerous flaws. Soul Hackers 2 has all the trappings of a great Shin Megami Tensei game, including heart, but lacks the substance to make it special.

Pétri de bonnes intentions, Soul Hackers 2 ne convainc jamais vraiment : son gameplay limité et ses environnements redondants en font une expérience qui montre très rapidement ses limites, il devrait vous falloir à peine une petite paire d'heures avant de déterrer le pot aux roses. Les amoureux du tour par tour à la japonaise peuvent tout de même tenter leur chance pour se boucher une dent creuse, mais il ne propose rien de suffisamment substantiel pour étancher leur soif de MegaTen.

Scénario insipide, combats mollassons, level design perfectible et localisation en français à revoir, Soul Hackers 2 n’excelle définitivement dans rien de ce qu’il entreprend. De là à le qualifier d’échec pur et dur, il y a un pas que nous ne franchirons pas. Pour la simple et bonne raison que, tout J-RPG prévisible et moyen qu’il est, il offre une aventure agréable, dotée de personnages auxquels on s’attache aisément, malgré une écriture certes mièvre. On est bien loin de la qualité à laquelle nous a habitué Atlus avec Shin Megami Tensei ou Persona, mais on passe un bon moment malgré tout. N’est-ce pas l’essentiel ?

Soul Hackers 2 es una buena noticia para los fans de Persona y Shin Megami Tensei, un JRPG que, pese a no llegar a la excelencia de sus antecesores más directos, entrega una experiencia notable que sabe encontrar su propio espacio dentro del universo demoníaco de Atlus.

Kirby's Dream Buffet is a colourful and chaotic slice of slapstick party game action that serves up a nice range of modes to play either offline, in online ranked matches, and with friends in split-screen or local play modes. This is an easy, breezy game to jump into, perfect for beginners and young gamers, with plenty of courses, lots of unlockable goodies, and a budget price point to boot, making for one delicious treat that we're gonna be digging into for some time to come.

Soul Hackers 2 plantea poquita cosa, pero lo hace muy bien la mayor parte del tiempo. Como fan de SMT, soy más crítico con cosas como la historia o el tono del juego, pero eso no invalida el hecho de que estemos ante un JRPG con elementos sobresalientes como sus combates o su progresión.

Midnight Fight Express tiene un mérito brutal por ser un hecho principalmente por una sola persona. Una idea loca, con una ejecución perfecta. Pese a que su concepto no puede ser más simple, está hecho con un cariño y pasión por el detalle dignas de admirar. Es el juego perfecto para el verano. Para sentirnos como el protagonista de un filme de acción... y todos hemos querido jugar a ser John Wick.

Although the gunplay felt solid and there's a lot of replayability, Midnight Fight Express' sloppy controls, poor story, and rather mediocre graphics make for an average-at-best experience.
