Feature-wise, the Vita version of SFxT is a much more complete package than the original release. However, the cramped and limited interface of the Vita inhibit your ability to enjoy them all as much as you should. This is still an incredibly solid experience and an excellent fighting game, however I find myself longing for the ability to use my arcade stick, or at least my console controller.

Overall, Sonic Adventure 2 is a fun game, just with some annoyances here and there. While I’m not fond of the treasure hunting stages and the camera leaves a lot to be desired, the meat of the game is actually pretty fun, and the soundtrack is one of the best I’ve heard from a Sonic game. If you liked it then, you’ll like it now. If you’ve never tried it before, I recommend checking out the demo before picking up the full game.

Persona 4 Golden has easily justified the purchase of the Vita. It may be a rerelease of a game from 2008, but with the amount of additional content thrown in, it feels like a fresh new game.

While the lack of advanced graphics options are disappointing, the core experience of Darksiders 2 remains intact with its assortment of gameplay genres and content rich world. Darksiders 2 on PC provides fans of the original and series newcomers with a seemingly endless amount of quests to complete and collectibles to discover, with the added bonus of Death himself as the protagonist.

The folks at Toys for Bob took the hottest selling game/toy crossover from last year and have made it better. Skylanders: Giants is a more refined experience that offers a little bit of something for every type of player, including sucking me back in to enjoy some quality gaming time with my children in the co-op mode. Although I wish the figurine lineup had more than 16 new characters being introduced, I still expect retailer shelves to be stocked to the brim with all of the merchandise this Holiday Season. For those that already have invested heavily in Skylanders, this is a no-brainer and must have. For anyone new to the franchise, the games charm and ability to satisfy gamers of all ages and skill set make this something you should look into.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure isn't a bad fighting game, but it may be too weird for its own good. The 22 characters are hard to relate to and the action is often chaotic for no reason. Worse yet, the game is too expensive for the amount of content. If you can get over some of the imperfections you'll find a good looking fighting game with a lot of memorable characters!
