Even as a rail shooter Dead Space Extraction is very faithful to the series' setting and mechanics. Dismembering aliens feels just as satisfying, the graphics are surprisingly close to the original and the story fills in the background left open by Isaac's story. Extraction is a must-play for Dead Space fans, and a damn good rail shooter in its own right.

Cross Edge had a lot of potential to be great. But a stiff and simply not fun battle system, coupled with a silly level of difficulty make it a title you're going to absolutely slog through, no matter how much you love the characters and their respective franchises.

Stoked takes everything Skate did and applies heavy amounts of snow. With its solid gameplay, good graphics, fresh music and five enormous mountains, Stoked turns out to be a truly memorable snowboarding game. It's not perfect, but this budget game should tide you over until SSX5 hits store shelves!

For Batman fans, this game is a long time coming. Taking the Unreal engine, Rocksteady has gone and made a truly fun superhero game and it looks incredible on the PC. If you have the NVIDIA hardware to play with, it looks even better and includes features that you can't find on the console versions.

There's a lot of fun to be had going through the history of The Beatles. Songs aren't overly complicated but you get at least one song from every album they've produced. The Dreamscapes are imaginative and great to watch. Only fans of the band need apply as it is strictly Beatles content on this one.

Bohemia Interactive's ArmA II provides an ultra-realistic military shooter for those that are up to the challenge. There are some rough spots, but those are adequately compensated for by the complex and realistic battle environment.

One could certainly argue that Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is nothing more than a glorified expansion pack. But there's definitely enough content in this game to warrant a look, even if you already own these songs in older Guitar Hero games. I just wish Activision would have done more with this idea than throwing us new songs.
