In a year that features games such as HALO 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle. It's a shame that plenty of titles will go overlooked, but don't make BloodRayne 2 one of them. Its addictive gameplay and intuitive combat system are some of the best available on the market today.

It's really a shame that a game like this suffers from the old bad port syndrome of stuttering graphics. The single player experience isn't too bad though but there's nothing here over the PC version that would make it a must buy for the 360.

Luxoflux takes another stab at the True Crime license, with mixed results. The horrid framerate and numerous bugs make this game like tap dancing in a minefield, but the game itself is deep, with a quality narrative, superb voice acting and rich gameplay. If it had been optimized and playtested for a few more months, True Crime New York City could’ve been a real hit. As it is, this game frustrates newcomers with its problems, but a rewarding game is in store for persistent gamers who can overlook (or tolerate) the mechanical potholes.

This "next generation" version of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland feels like a missed opportunity. If you're looking for a game that shows off the power of the Xbox 360 then you have no reason to even consider this game, and at $10 more it's hard to justify this over the versions on older platforms. Better luck next year!

Shreak Super Slam is a run-of-the-mill fighting game that will only appeal to kids that simply can't get enough of the Shrek franchise, and even they will find that Super Slam doesn't offer much by way of long-term playability.

One of the best FPS games I've ever played on any platform. Call of Duty 2 is one of the few launch titles that really takes advantage of the 360's hardware. The excellent single player is tarnished by the buggy and laggy multiplayer side though.

Call of Duty 2 : Big Red One will more than likely be the final version of this well-respected title for the Xbox. While it probably uses everything the aging Xbox platform has to offer, and it corrects at least some of the complaints from the previous version, it can't compete with the sequels available for the PC and Xbox 360. Perhaps titling it Call of Duty 1.5 would have been more accurate.

After a throw-away attempt on the DS, Warthog has constructed a passable platformer with the Animaniacs franchise. You won't find anything fresh or spectacular, but the gameplay is competent and the show has (finally) been recreated with some decent accuracy.

The King of Fighters 2002/2003 may not look as good as Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive, but with it's cast of nearly 50 characters and deep fighting mechanics it's just as easy to get addicted to. SNK has managed to release a collection that is not only a good bargain but also features two diverse experiences, something you don't usually say about SNK's fighting games.
