There are plenty of people that are going to play and enjoy Brink, because the team based gamplay has its moments of undeniable brilliance. With a team communicating to function as a well oiled unit, and no network latency, Brink is spectacular at times.

Whether you are an experienced test subject or are just experiencing Portal for the first time, Portal 2 is a great game. The Portal puzzle solving premise has only gotten better from the original with the inclusion of plenty of new tricks you’ll need to master if you want to finish the game.

Despite some of it’s flaws, Crysis 2 is a great introduction to the Crysis universe for Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. Some subtle changes to the gameplay may feel like a stretch for fans of the old PC versions, but the appeal is still there. The attention to detail in Crysis 2 is outstanding. It has a story that you won’t soon forget, with an open ending that may have you beginning the long wait to Crysis 3 prematurely, but don’t worry there’s plenty of multiplayer goodness to go around until it does come.

Full House Poker is certainly worth every penny of the $10 that it will run you on Xbox Live Marketplace. I guess as with everything, it depends on if you like poker or not. Playing with a group of friends is as always, a fun time. But, it’s also the perfect game to meet some new people in the daily tournaments, or even learn the game in the single player modes which can teach you a little something about different poker playing styles.

Homefront is a pretty big disappointment in my book. A story that I eagerly anticipated to wade through was never actually realized. Without that, the multiplayer also meant that much less to me as well. And while the multiplayer can certainly have it’s moments of fun, it’s not something that hasn’t been done before. While not all games need to be ground breaking or original, it helps to at least do something better than the competition. And honestly, I couldn’t find one area where Homefront outpaces its competitors. It completely drops the ball in the area that it advertised itself to be different, the story. As a result, it fails to follow through on delivering the emotion and soul that it was supposedly built around.

Much like they did with the transition between Mass Effect 1& 2, in blurring the line between third person shooter and RPG, Bioware hit the sweet spot with Dragon Age 2 in blurring the line between Third Person Action and Strategic RPG.

Shift 2 is a unique driving experience. Unfortunately, taking aim at franchises like Gran Turismo and Forza led me to believe that Shift 2 would be a much more polished experience. Shift 2 is a great arcade racer, but as a simulation it's average, and needs alot of work in the some of the handling aspects of the game.

Fight Night Champion isn’t just a rehashed version of Fight Night Round 4. EA Canada has added some pretty significant changes that have made the game much deeper

Capcom is running neck and neck at this point with it’s only competition being itself. The lip service to the fans of Marvel and Capcom wrapped in a completely diverse and addictive collection of game modes, will have you yearning to perfect your game, and earn all unlockables.

An engaging leveling system, an expansive world to explore, and limitless possibility to have fun by your lonesome or with friends via your network of choice, make this one of the funnest racers I have played in quite some time.

Amazing graphics, unforgettable sequences, and tension that you can cut with a knife make Dead Space 2 one of the best single player experiences I have played in quite some time. Add in a equally tense, great looking, and fully featured multiplayer component and you have got yourself one hell of a game here.

You can still put Mass Effect 2 up against the best games that were released in 2010 and more than likely 2011 as well.
