Gears of War 3 is a must play for any action or shooter fans. The campaign is a fitting end to the series, and it would be acceptable if Epic never released another Gears title. The muliplayer modes will keep you coming back after the campaign is over, however most of your time may be spent in Horde mode. While it is similar to Gears 2, I had a lot more fun with this one.

Technical problems aside, NHL 12 offers a wealth of content and solid gameplay for anyone who's even remotely interested in hockey. Owners of NHL 11 may want to think twice about their purchase, but those who have yet to try out the franchise - now's as good a time as any.

El Shaddai is a unique video game with a very abstract style that it makes its own. Unfortunately the gameplay falls a little short of the overall picture El Shaddai is trying to paint. The game does warrant a playthrough, though.

Tomb Raider: Underworld suffers from a few problems but otherwise it's an enjoyable game that will keep fans of the series entertained. It comes recommended to Tomb Raider fans, or those who are looking for a title focused on platforming instead of action.

F.E.A.R. 3 is a smooth, fast paced and intense FPS, despite the fact that it gets repetitive at times. The multiplayer modes hold good amount of replay value, as they pack enough unique features. If you're an FPS fan, this is worth a try.
