Last year Eurocom delivered GoldenEye: Reloaded, an HD remake which was arguably the best James Bond game since well, the original GoldenEye 64. Unfortunately the developer hasn't been able to maintain that trajectory with 007 Legends; an abhorrent 'tribute' to the history of the British super spy that doesn't just take liberties - it takes the piss. At a time when early reports suggest the celluloid Bond is reaching a new high with Skyfall, it's a shame that his video game counterpart has reached his digital downfall. If you're really dying for a Call of Duty-style shooter experience, then sit tight as Black Ops II has likely got more money than God behind it and it's only a month away.

Rarely does the solo action do anything to challenge Anarchy Reigns’ subtle combat mechanics. The mindless enemy encounters in the empty open world aren’t why you want to play this, but it’s almost necessary to make the most of the multiplayer’s exciting madness and unpredictability. Online matches can be irritating for those who haven’t taken the time to learn the ins and outs of their characters, certainly, but the novelty of slaughtering each other in football arenas or fighting over flags makes the multiplayer a worthwhile use of time. Even if you only enjoy half of Anarchy Reigns, at least it’s appropriately priced at $30.

Gunman Clive is a brief experience, but still one well worth experiencing if you’re looking for a fine $2 platformer on your 3DS. The stellar game design is emboldened by the three different characters you can play as. From start to finish, Gunman Clive is a fantastic platformer, good enough that it is worth playing multiple times to play as every character.

The functional karaoke mechanics and effective GamePad integration make Sing Party a passable option for those gamers looking for a little musical accompaniment to their parties. But a weak tracklist festers underneath Sing Party's accessible, bland exterior. And without an adequate progression system to encourage repeat play, Sing Party misses its leap for gaming greatness.

Aside from these visual and performance issues, it’s the same entertaining and pleasingly substantial racer we enjoyed on home consoles. But in light of its technical flaws, we’d only cautiously recommend buying it on Vita. If you own a PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii U, you’d be better off with any of those versions, while those seeking a fast-paced racer that really makes their Vita sing should consider WipEout 2048 ahead of this.

TTT isn’t that good. Blowing up stuff is fun, but you’ll end up fighting the controls and the game becomes a grind if you play it any real length of time. If my eight- year-old son would rather play something else, you probably will too.

Don’t mince words: The Walking Dead: The Game is something special. By giving players the option to craft relationships and make choices that fill out the story, The Walking Dead wraps you up in its events and makes you care in a way few video games can. Yes, there are moments where Lee’s animations look jerky and technical issues remind you this is just a game, but the story is what’s driving the action here, and it’s a tale no one should miss.

Inventive storytelling blends with some of the most bizarre sights you'll experience in a 2D platformer to make Black Knight Sword a real gem on the presentation front. It's deliciously weird from start to finish, but that weirdness only partially distracts from the repetitious, uninspiring gameplay and brutal difficulty. For a game that's so strongly unique, Black Knight Sword sadly bleeds out much of its charm through a few gaping flaws.

The bizarre artistic direction of Just Dance 4's audio/visual components, coupled with its absurd choreography, cripple the player experience found within. This dance party game may illicit a few laughs, but nothing more worthwhile. Just Dance 4 is a generator of awkward moments, an engine powering missteps and bodily mayhem. Whether this is frustrating or fun will often come down to the blood alcohol level of the participants.

Modern Combat 4 might be a small step backwards but it’s still an impressive, action-packed adventure. At its best, the game offers up real moments of intense gunplay. Enemies closing in, planes flying overhead, too much panicked comm chatter, and you trying to line up the perfect sniper head shot. All while you’re on the train on your way to work. But be sure to check expectations for the by-the-numbers nature of the experience at the door.
