Radiant Historia is a classic RPG that manages to feel brand new, with a unique battle system and a multi-faceted time travel mechanic. While the story can drag at times, and reliving certain moments over and over can be tiring, it is ultimately a wonderful game that all RPG enthusiasts should make it a point to check out.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 had promise, but the final product didn't come together for this online racer. I'm a fan of games that give you control of your character's life (see: buying houses, decorating, pimping sweet rides), but the driving is missing the raw energy it needs to stay interesting and the rest of the experience is bug-ridden.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 doesn’t disappoint as a fighting game, even after a decade of waiting. It’s very much the same insane concept we know and love, which isn’t a bad thing. By drastically revising the roster, what’s old is definitely new again. The balance and depth in the game is astonishing, and even the odd characters have their distinct charms. It’s easy to lose hours and hours exploring team combinations and battle strategies. Graphically the game is solid, particularly when the action is at its most fierce. Some of the effects work and animation is stunning, despite a lack of detail because of the visual style that was implemented. What’s really a shame here is that the developer didn’t manage to find a way to supplement the core experience with extras that would extend the life of the game by adding some variety to the package. If M.O.D.O.K. can be animated so that he presses different buttons on his keypad for every single move he performs, we should have a Survival Mode.

About a Blob is a capable platformer with a cool, eye-catching art style and inventive gameplay. With several (but not enough) levels of increasing difficulty, it’s a short but sweet title that is sometimes a bit repetitive, but ultimately well worth the price of admission.

There’s no question that, at an asking price of $1.99, NHL 2K11 should be downloaded by even the most casual of hockey fans. The animations are fast, fluid and impressive and the same can be said for the gameplay despite its simplicity. Other little touches like hearing individual voices in the crowd and being able to construct legitimate trades in the game’s season mode help push the download beyond other sports titles with a heftier price tag. It might not be the prettiest or most complex of the iPhone’s sports games, but that doesn’t mean NHL 2K11 isn’t worth a few hours of your time.

Stacking is chock full of charm, humor, and fun puzzles. Though some of the solutions are really easy, if you avoid the hint system it’ll take some time to decipher some of the harder ones. If all you want to do is run through the story without trying other solutions, performing Hi-Jinks or collecting dolls, Stacking may not be the best $15 investment. However, it’s hard not to get sucked into this colorful world, so if you can appreciate the style of humor Stacking has to offer, you’ll enjoy this game immensely.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is not a bad game, but it's a huge swing away from the first Rearmed, which was a masterpiece. What was once a platformer in a class of its own is now just another platformer. Jumping adds nothing to Bionic Commando. I guess it's true: you really can't teach an old dog new tricks.

The inventive spell system and multiplayer element don’t make Two Worlds II good, unfortunately. They provide good points for brave RPG fans to find some purchase and explore the game, though. Two Worlds II has a lot of potential, but ultimately, it can’t fulfill the lofty ambitions that Reality Pump set for it and comes up shorter than it probably would have for the trouble.

Since its debut in 1995, Tactics Ogre has always held a clutch of fans worldwide. It seems almost a shame that it's during the PSP's twilight that Tactics Orge finally emerged on the world stage. It's definitely testament to the quality of the original game design, however, that it remains so playable and engaging more than 15 years on. It's not perfect, however. There are definitely times when the menus and sheer complexity will get to you. Even so, the numerous improvements and refinements are much appreciated, and for gamers with the patience, few other games come close to the sum-total quality of strategy RPGing that Tactics Ogre provides.

Breach feels like the best job a small team could do with an overly ambitious project. For the price it’s not bad for being a multiplayer-only title, it’s just that nothing about Breach is particularly noteworthy. The destructible environments and cover system make for some interesting moments, but every time I did something in Breach it made me think about a better experience I had with a similar game.

Hysteria Project 2 has all of the elements needed for a great horror game: excellent sense of dread and panic, great atmospherics, and a good story. But it just bludgeons you with death scenes that constantly rip you out of the experience. When constructing a world this interesting, Bulkypix should be trying to keep the player fully engaged in it. That’s how fear is made. I’m not scared by getting killed every 30 seconds. I’m frustrated.

If money's no object to you, you're a big Capcom fan and you want to revisit one of the company's biggest arcade hits of the pre-Street Fighter II era, then by all means click into the Wii Shop and give 1942's new Virtual Console re-release a look. If what you're really wanting is a deep and satisfying shooter experience, though, there are plenty of other, better options available elsewhere in the Shop. For the same price, or cheaper.

If you don’t expect much from it, you’ll have a pretty good time with Venetica. However, without the patience to figure out quests and gameplay elements on your own, you’ll end up incredibly frustrated. If you don’t need a game to hold your hand, or mind that it’s not up to snuff in the graphics or combat departments, you’ll find that questing around Venice is a good time.

Dead Space Extraction is fun and the best reason so far to own the PlayStation Move. It packs an interesting story, tight controls and a ton to do for its nominal price. I wish it had a few more PS3 bells and whistles and didn't lose steam at times, but I enjoyed the ride.
