Es una pena que la prometedora premisa inicial de este spin-off de nuestra querida saga Overlord haya resultado ser finalmente una decepción. Si bien no empieza del todo mal la cosa en el tutorial, a medida que avanzan los cuatro actos que componen la aventura –uno inicial y tres principales- la cosa se va desmoronando. El combate es soso, el uso de los esbirros impreciso, su desarrollo es repetitivo y el diseño de niveles algo torpe. La monotonía y la sensación de repetición una y otra vez de los mismos patrones no tarda en llegar, si bien hay que reconocer que tampoco es que resulte un aburrimiento acabarse el juego y que la cosa gana si jugamos con amigos. Un dungeon crawler de lo más normalito, cuyo principal motivo para probarlo puede ser el uso de los esbirros –como idea mola, aunque no esté bien implementada- o tu amor la franquicia Overlord. Por lo demás, y a pesar de ser lanzado en formato digital a precio reducido y de que puede resultar divertido por momentos, estamos ante una compra totalmente prescindible.
With all of the wasted potential and the abuse of a cult-classic property found here, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is not good. It is entirely possible to glean some enjoyment from the tone here, and the action can be a decent way to turn off the brain for anyone who just wants to whack things. For anyone else, there are many better options. For folks who want an action/RPG on a budget, try Torchlight or The Adventures of Van Helsing. For people who want to be evil, try voting for Ben Carson. Finally, for fans of the Overlord series, go back and play the original two again. If those have been played to death, check out Dungeon Keeper on Good Old Games (speaking of franchises where the latest title completely missed the point).

Having zero redeeming qualities is the best compliment I can give Overlord: Fellowship of Evil. It is, without a doubt, the worst video game I have ever played in my life and the only reason I'm not giving it a 0 is because, technically, it runs.
