Madden 19 se centra en algo que puede parecer obvio, pero que no siempre ha sido así. Los partidos. La constante sensación de que estamos ante un partido de verdad es algo en lo que EA Tiburon ha trabajado de manera notoria y que nos acompaña durante toda nuestra experiencia con el juego. Con las nuevas animaciones Madden 19 se convierte en uno de los mejores en la historia de la franquicia además de sentar las bases de lo que será el futuro de la serie. Madden 20 lo va a tener muy difícil para superar esta entrega, pero para llegar a eso nos queda todo un año disfrutando de pases, carreras y golpes en el pecho. Buen trabajo.

Madden NFL 19 is ultimately the complete Madden of the current generation. Necessary changes to gameplay and Franchise Mode make it feel fresh and the improved visuals help complete the updated experience. There are still some issues with gameplay on the defensive side of the ball, but having the Real Player Motion helps in adding new ways not only to move the ball down the field, but celebrate. Longshot: Homecoming is an entertaining sequel while Madden Ultimate Team introduces new ways to play. Hardcore Madden fans will appreciate the changes this year and skeptics need to give it a try before judging this as just another “roster update.”

Madden 19 returns the primary focus where it belongs: that moment-to-moment gameplay between the end zones. It’s only true stumbling point is the lackluster story mode that fails to recapture the magic of the first, but that's entirely offset by the new player handling that once again leverages the power of the Frostbite engine. Most importantly, Madden 19 has finally cracked that slightly repetitive feel that can make it tough to go on, game after game. With Real Player Motion delivering a fluid on-the-field experience, and Franchise mode customization offering another level of realism, Madden is in a great place.

Un Madden meno spettacolare del solito ma di grande sostanza. Visivamente non è molto distante da Madden 2018, nonostante l'aggiunta di numerosi modelli poligonali (gli stadi fanno paura), mentre a livello di gameplay il gioco cambia eccome. L'implementazione del Real Player Motion migliora il running game e cambia le dinamiche offensive e difensive della serie. La modalità storia è un po' la delusione dell'annata (una realizzazione un po' troppo frettolosa), mentre Franchise e MUT fanno il loro dovere. Sul fronte online non abbiamo registrato grossi problemi ma dopo una serie di patch e aggiornamenti era il minimo. Da rimarcare poi il ritorno su PC della serie dopo una decina d'anni di esilio forzato: speriamo di rivedere anche NHL!

Tout en restant dans la continuité de ses prédécésseurs, Madden 19 arrive à proposer des nouveautés pour les accrocs du football américain. Que ce soit avec la suite de Longshot, le renouveau du mode Franchise et l’évolution du Ultimate Team, il est difficile de ne pas trouver son compte ! Il reste cependant que peu de nouveautés sont présentes en comparaison de l’an dernier.

If you’ve played Madden in the last several years, odds are you already know if you’ll enjoy Madden NFL 19. That isn’t to say the game does nothing new or better over the previous game, but it is very much another iterative game that will make you go, “Yep, that’s a Madden.” Whether that’s a good thing or not is really up to you.

Madden NFL 19 is, in pretty much every way, less exciting than its predecessor, at least on a conceptual level. Last year’s game had a new engine and a completely new mode to boast. This year’s biggest selling point—Real Player Motion—definitely makes running a more viable offensive option. Otherwise, all you’re getting is part two of what’s becoming an unnecessary trend in EA’s sports-related telenovelas and a whole lot of advertising for Madden Ultimate Team. If that doesn’t sound good enough for you, then you probably should just skip Madden this year.
