PGA Tour 2K21 è un gioco veramente ben fatto e completo, difficile quanto basta e soddisfacente quando padroneggiato. Il tool di creazione del campo è quella chicca che rende tutto ancora più interessante. Un comparto tecnico buono ma non eccellente ed un editor interessante ma leggermente mozzato, così come un bug sull'impostazione dello swing sono gli unici nei nella produzione. Palla in buca e Birdie.

Se questo titolo voleva rappresentare un nuovo inizio per la saga di simulazioni golfistiche, allora dobbiamo dire che si è riusciti a lanciare la palla sul green. Si tratta di un gioco eccellente ed attualmente minato da una poca varietà di modalità disponibili, la cui unica opzione realmente degna di nota è la carriera, tuttavia anch'essa molto ripetitiva e con meno profondità di quanto ci saremmo aspettati. PGA Tour 2K21 è un titolo con una curva di apprendimento molto alta e con notevoli opzioni di accessibilità, caratteristiche che lo rendono un titolo perfetto per tutti gli appassionati di questo sport, sia che abbiano mai giocato ad un titolo simulativo o che siano esperti. Perché il golf, lo abbiamo detto, è per tutti.

Despite its downfalls and legacy design issues, I simply cannot put down PGA Tour 2K21. Much like the previous Golf Club title, this is a golf game with smidgen of the PGA Tour tacked on it. MyPLAYER is designed to be a individualistic experience, but a lack of depth on the branded items and the fact that there’s no leveling up the player leaves the long-term aspect in question. Couple that with a season that is mostly full of fantasy courses with some mid-tier PGA Tour courses thrown in and those expecting a full on PGA experience will be disappointed. What matters the most here, however, is the golf and the proper representation of a golf broadcast. The addiction of building confidence until you find that sweet spot and the ability to nail shots that you crafted in your mind makes it worth it. Just avoid higher difficulties until you get comfortable, but I also feel getting too serious about your play style may ruin the experience that’s otherwise extremely fun. In the end PGA Tour 2K21 is a great game of golf and a promising start to the new franchise, and with 2K onboard, we should continue to see more of the PGA positively implemented in the future.

In many regards, PGA Tour 2K21 feels like a more refined version of TGC19, and once you’ve mastered the art of golfing the core gameplay experience is the best the sport has seen yet. As a PGA title, there are some missed opportunities though. The lack of playable golf stars is a big omission and a shallow career mode are two areas HB Studios and 2K could improve on next time around. But if you’re just looking to play a few holes here and there, PGA Tour 2K21 is a great way to get out on the course.

Golfgames zijn niet voor iedereen weggelegd, maar HB Studios doet toch een degelijke poging om een zo breed mogelijk publiek aan te spreken. De gameplay is toegankelijk voor iedereen, maar toch uitdagend genoeg voor de echte kenners. Voeg daar nog een uitgebreide course designer en verschillende manier om met vrienden of andere spelers online te spelen aan toe, en je weet dat je heel wat uurtjes met je golfclubs zal staan zwaaien.

HB Studios è riuscita costantemente a migliorare la propria simulazione golfistica negli ultimi anni: il risultato ottenuto con PGA Tour 2K21 è buono e fan ben sperare per il futuro. La mancanza dei Major e di molti grandi campioni (Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth ma anche i nostri Manassero e Molinari) sono difficili da digerire per gli appassionati, così come un comparto grafico decisamente migliorabile. L'editor e le numerose modalità di gioco implementate sono davvero tanta roba e la modalità Carriera è sorprendente. Consigliato a tutti gli appassionati di questo nobile sport e a chi cerca un titolo rilassante per qualche sfida in famiglia o qualche torneo online.

Une jouabilité capricieuse qui n'entache en rien les sensations que l'on peut ressentir. C'est un régal qui simule à la perfection une partie de golf où on lutte pour sauver les par, chaque birdie vous rendra plus heureux qu'un bébé à la tétée et les mauvais coups vous feront jeter la manette. PGA Tour 2K21 est un monstre d'ingéniosité pour mettre au service des joueurs l'extrême difficulté technique de ce sport, tant sur la possibilité des coups, que des trajectoires, des paramètres environnementaux et des rebonds réalistes qui apportent vraiment un plaisir immense. PGA Tour 2K21 remet le golf vidéoludique au premier plan et nous fait espérer une suite toujours plus riche.

PGA TOUR 2K21 es un juego muy entretenido y sobretodo accesible, donde no tendremos que tener un gran dominio de los golpes o palos para divertirnos, pero también puede ser todo un reto en los niveles más avanzados de dificultad. En la parte que se queda más justo de contenido seria el modo carrera, el cual se termina rápido dejándonos solamente con el modo editor y el multijugador. Por lo demás el juego promete quedarse con nosotros de manera anual, aunque si que me gustaría que la siguiente entrega tenga los torneos más importantes del circuito, así como poder controlar a los profesionales del mundo del golf.

Buono, ma con margini di miglioramento PGA Tour 2K21 nasce con l'ambizioso matrimonio tra HB Studios e 2K . Dopo il successo ottenuto con la serie The Golf Club, i ragazzi canadesi hanno provato ad alzare un po' l'asticella con un titolo discretamente buono, ma che presenta ancora alcuni difetti. Dall'unione con il team di 2K ci saremmo aspettati un salto di qualità tale da stabilire uno standard per il genere, probabilmente sarà necessario un po' di tempo per ottenere un risultato di grande qualità. Infatti, i due team hanno tutte le carte in regola per fare grandi cose assieme. In ogni caso, se amate questo sport e non vedete l'ora di provare al mondo che la vostra non è solo fortuna del principiante, questo divertente titolo fa proprio al caso vostro. PGA Tour 2K21 hits a strong swing… but it lands solidly in the rough. There are so many rough edges that stops this from being something that can be enjoyed as a proper video game rather than just a golf sim. But at its core, the golf mechanics are well realised, rewards skill and satisfying once mastered. Everything about playing the actual game of golf is perfectly crafted. That lie in the rough is near the green, and PGA Tour 2K21 is the kind of golf that can possibly chip in straight into the hole from here. If you’re coming from The Golf Club, or a genuine golfer who wants a video game equivalent, PGA Tour 2K21 does what you’d expect from it amazingly well. But there’s a long way to go to match the heydays of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games. For the first entry of this series, PGA Tour 2K21 sets its foundations well. So it’s a matter of time before it truly becomes the best golf game for everyone.

PGA Tour 2K21 is the most flexible and enjoyable golf game since EA’s Tiger Woods series was at its peak. While its career mode could have done with some spit and polish to its presentation and featured more meaningful rewards, it nonetheless serves as a solid 20-hour straightaway to what could prove to be the most thriving part of PGA Tour 2K21’s dance floor in the long term; the online societies. As far as establishing a new sports franchise goes (on the shoulders of the three Golf Club games that came before) this might not be the strongest shot off the tee, but it’s ended up in a very playable lie.

PGA Tour 2K21 è certamente la scelta migliore (d’altronde è l’unica) per chi cerca una simulazione golfistica su PC e console. Il titolo rappresenta un passo in avanti per il franchise e pur mantenendo le meccaniche di base delle precedenti iterazioni, il lavoro svolto per rendere più avvincente e completa l’offerta è apprezzabile. C’è ancora qualcosa da sistemare, chissà come evolverà la serie con l’avvento della next-gen…
