The gameplay is simple—one player builds the road while the other drives—but it’s guaranteed to demand all of your time and effort, so be prepared to laugh (or fight) with your family and friends for hours on end. Part racer and part frenetic puzzle game, Can’t Drive This is a highly imaginative and fresh driving game that thrives as a catchy co-op experience. At its best with four players it’s a genuine riot and a true crowd-pleaser, and it’s buoyed by balanced handling, a nice soundtrack, and a good sense of humour. However, its skinny selection of modes means it doesn’t quite have the stamina a party game needs to keep a couch-load of people engaged for hours on end.
