Seppur nella sua storica nicchia di esistenza, SaGa Emerald Beyond non è un titolo semplice da gestire perché è un prodotto assolutamente incline ai gusti e palati di chi ha finanziato la serie in questi quasi 40 anni di attività, ma al contempo è un titolo difficilissimo da inghiottire per amanti di JRPG più tradizionali. Paradossalmente, il sistema di combattimento è la cosa più assimilabile perché più prossima a un meccanismo di digestione del JRPG abbastanza dato per assodato. Ebbene, questo è un male? No, assolutamente e i fan potranno trovare in Emerald Beyond il titolo che stavano aspettando da anni, quindi il voto serve a poco nulla. Per tutti gli altri, possiamo consigliarlo a chi apprezza tanta sperimentazione e a chi non subisce l'influsso della tradizione, a chi insomma è disposto a chiudere un occhio su un avanzamento spigoloso ma dalla rigiocabilità enorme, che potrà succhiare dozzine di ore se assaporata nel suo insieme.
