Frostpunk 2 si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa, riuscendo a intrattenerci nonostante le sue tematiche profonde e talvolta drammatiche. Il gioco rappresenta un significativo passo avanti per il team di sviluppo, che ha saputo migliorare la gestione delle risorse e delle civiltà, elevando l’esperienza rispetto al primo capitolo della serie. Pur non essendo un titolo adatto a tutti, Frostpunk 2 saprà affascinare gli appassionati del genere con un gameplay complesso e una narrazione di alta qualità, che supera i già eccellenti risultati del suo predecessore. Al netto di pregi e difetti, raccomandiamo Frostpunk 2 principalmente agli appassionati del genere. Tuttavia, invitiamo anche i giocatori più casual interessati ai giochi di gestione a dargli una chance.

The Plucky Squire has a nice art style and some clever tricks with shifting between two different perspectives on the world, though ultimately this storybook will appeal to younger players the most.

on’t you love when a game delivers on the hype? I certainly do and The Plucky Squire lives up to its promise. I was grinning the whole time playing it and really enjoyed what it had to offer. This is a game that while not providing a ton of challenge in the combat arena, it brought forth some clever puzzles that sometimes made me stop to appreciate what I had to do regardless of if it was actually difficult to figure out or not. A game like this comes around only so often and it is actually one I’d recommend to all gamers.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster supone la modernización de uno de los títulos más originales, caóticos y divertidos del género zombi en la historia del videojuego. La historia, plagada de clichés, sátira e ironía, sienta las bases perfectas para una fórmula jugable de acción desmedida que te insta a explorar el centro comercial de principio a fin y a probar un sinfín de armas, muchas de ellas absurdas, contra una horda infinita de zombis, psicópatas, sectarios, policías, y demás seres del infierno más apocalíptico, siempre con un ojo puesto en el cronómetro y en la plétora de misiones secundarias que van apareciendo en todo momento. Todavía tiene algunos detallitos sin pulir que arrastra desde 2006 y que ensombrecen un poquito la experiencia, como una IA en ocasiones errática, algún que otro bug visual, y una navegación un poco confusa, además de un poco de censura fotográfica que no existía en el original, pero, en líneas generales, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster es la ocasión perfecta para sumergirse en el otro apocalipsis zombie de Capcom.

Funko Fusion feels like it actively goes out of its way to ensure you don’t have fun. Despite Funko choosing a few fun properties and characters to translate to a video game, a plethora of bugs, clunky gameplay, and frustrating moments continuously hamper your ability to ever enjoy the moment. I believe there may be a good game hidden deep within Funko Fusion, but it is buried under so many issues that I doubt many players will have the patience to find it. The lack of co-op upon launch is truly baffling, as that may have been the one thing to save this experience. At minimum, I'd wait until co-op is released and a few updates have been made before checking Funko Fusion out.

NBA 2K25 Nel complesso, NBA 2K25 è un bel miglioramento rispetto al suo predecessore, complice un egregio lavoro di correzione di diversi difettucci della precedente iterazione. Il gameplay è solidissimo (a partire dal movimento in attacco, passando per la contestazione del tiro avversario, fino ad arrivare all'impatto maggiore che ha la difesa e alla buonissima IA). Tutte le modalità funzionano ad eccezione di quella dedicata alla WNBA (che speriamo possa ricevere il giusto trattamento in futuro). Tuttavia, il più grande difetto del franchise non è ancora stato risolto e ci riferiamo alle microtransazioni e al notevole quantitativo di VC necessari per migliorare la build del proprio giocatore; se non si ha tanto tempo da dedicarci è praticamente impossibile non utilizzare denaro sonante, il che - a nostro modo di vedere - è davvero una costrizione inaccettabile. A parte questo, NBA 2K25 è uno dei migliori titoli della serie, se non il migliore degli ultimi anni! Instead of sinking hundreds into the multitude of retro-hardwares available, I would highly recommend this option. One download to rule them all. No additional cables hooked into the shrinking number of HDMI ports on the TV. Hundreds of game options in a variety of categories that will occupy hours and hours of your time. If you happen to be in my age range, the nostalgia hits and memories will come rushing back. The joy and excitement of unwrapping the box and popping the cartridge in (brand new, you didn’t have to blow on it, yet). If you’re a retro gaming fan, then Antstream Arcade is for you!

Partiamo col dire che Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster non è un remake, anche se la grafica potrebbe ingannare. Quindi sono rimasti alcuni problemini legati all'età, soprattutto se consideriamo quando è uscito l'originale. Questo significa animazioni legnose e piccoli fastidi qua e là, soprattutto se consideriamo il fatto che non si percepisce quando i proiettili vanno a segno. Per tutto il resto però, il gioco ha un gameplay loop assurdo, che riesce a tenere incollati per ore e che non frustra quando si perde, visto che viene solo voglia di ricominciare e prendere un percorso migliore.

Evotinction è un discreto gioco di furtività, che ha come principale difetto il tentativo di fare molto più di quanto può gestire. Il sistema di hacking al centro del gioco è fin troppo denso di possibilità in una avventura troppo breve per dare al giocatore la possibilità di capire veramente come usare tutto quello che viene offerto e che ci spinge quindi a usare sempre le solite due mosse per avanzare e arrivare ai titoli di coda. Chi è estremamente appassionati di stealth game e dà per scontato di voler fare il 100% potrebbe dargli una possibilità, perché potrebbe trarre il meglio dall'opera, tutti gli altri invece si ritroverebbero tra le mani un gioco caotico da finire e abbandonare. Peccato anche per la trama, che propone alcune suggestioni interessanti ma che si rivelano banali e mal esposte.

When Artificial Intelligence goes rogue, hacking is just what the doctor ordered. Evotinction is a mixed bag of stealth, action, and technology that sometimes struggles to stand on it's own circuit. However, the game is pretty solid with a good story at its foundation.

Funko Fusion reste une production honnête. S’il y a quand même pas mal de soucis dans son gameplay comme dans sa narration simpliste et son level design confus, le titre est un minimum fun dans sa prise en main. Qui plus est, le jeu de 1010 Games est généreux dans son contenu en proposant une myriade d’univers et de personnages jouables. Chaque univers est respecté, le ton est amusant, comme le gameplay dans ses premières heures, mais on ne pourra pas s’empêcher de pester contre une répétitivité affreuse et de nombreux bugs qui pourrissent l’expérience de jeu. Il n’en reste pas moins une aventure convenable dans l’ensemble, bien que l’on se demande encore si le titre, avec ses nombreux écueils, est vraiment destiné à un jeune public. Pour un premier jeu, le studio 1010 Games a fait un travail honnête, mais doit encore prendre de l’expérience.

L'idea di un misto sparatutto-avventura sullo stile della serie LEGO sembrava una base perfetta per un adattamento videoludico dei giocattoli in questione, ma Funko Fusion non riesce proprio a convincere. La componente sparatutto è incolore e ripetitiva, mentre puzzle ed elementi da avventura riescono a sollevare un po' l'interesse, ma il ricorso al back-tracking e la sostanziale riproposizione delle medesime situazioni di gioco indeboliscono anche questo aspetto potenzialmente positivo. Qualche sbavatura tecnica e la totale assenza di multiplayer (che verrà però corretta in seguito) aggravano la situazione, rendendo questo titolo adatto soprattutto ai più esaltati collezionisti di Funko Pop, forse.
