This game has a lot to offer the escape room fans, with a substantial variety of puzzles that feel very satisfying to solve – at least, once you figure out what it is you’re even supposed to do. If you’re more inclined towards a deeper narrative than a multi-location puzzler, this may not be one for you. Either way, during its short runtime it’s sure to hold your attention with its rich atmosphere, beautifully drawn locations, immaculate musical direction, and a few striking scenes that elevate the experience. I would love to see more of what Tales from Candleforth could offer as an anthology series, and hopefully Wood and Flesh: A Candleforth Short Story, a free playable prequel set in the same universe, is just a small tease of what more there is to come.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls features amazing, fast-paced fighting and realistic character designs despite balancing issues and a grind-heavy unlocking system. Apart from some of the issues, it’s a thrilling fighting game for fans.

Atomfall gefällt mir vor allem wegen seines frischen Szenarios und dem Willen, ein Open-World-Abenteuer der kompakteren Sorte zu erzählen. Dass das zentrale Mysterium dabei lange spannend bleibt (wenngleich einige Antworten dann doch erstaunlich einfach ausfallen) und sich das Spiel trotz der kurzen, aber erfreulich weit gefächerten Hauptquest zu keinem Zeitpunkt klein oder hastig anfühlt, rechne ich den Machern von Rebellion hoch an. Auf der anderen Seite stehen eine nicht allzu aufregende Action-Seite und ein allzu durchschnittliches Tun-und-machen, sowie die Schwierigkeiten bei der Spielerführung beziehungsweise möglichen Bugs und Blocker, die Rebellion dringend überarbeiten sollte. Atomfall ist kein Fallout – das stimmt im Guten wie im Schlechten. Aber es ist ein eigenes, nettes verqueres kleines Mid-Price-Ding, dem man beizeiten eine Chance geben kann.

In definitiva, Atomfall riesce a offrire un’esperienza coinvolgente grazie alla sua atmosfera inquietante e alla narrazione ben costruita. L’ambientazione post-apocalittica è affascinante e ricca di dettagli, mentre il gameplay bilancia esplorazione e tensione in modo efficace. Certo, qualche difetto c’è, ma nel complesso il gioco riesce nel suo intento: immergere il giocatore in un mondo ostile e misterioso. Se amate le avventure cariche di suspense, vale sicuramente la pena dargli una chance.

On traverse Wanderstop un peu comme dans un rêve, avec un sentiment de cohésion logique sur le moment et quelques secondes au réveil avant que tout devienne flou et qu'on passe sur les réseaux sociaux pour le raconter tellement c'était bizarre. Le thème soulevé par la condition d'Alta et son traitement sont impeccables. L'humour et l'univers de Davey Wreden sont parfaits. Les deux ensembles... créent une petite dissonance un peu étrange ; rien de grave. Mais on quitte le salon de thé de la forêt magique avec le sentiment d'avoir raté un truc. Une grosse tasse de doute bien chaude. L'impression que nous, ou le développeur, sommes passés à côté de quelque chose. C'est la première fois que je conclus un jeu aussi indécis. Si c'était l'objectif de l'auteur, c'est réussi !

Atelier Yumia: L’Alchimiste des Souvenirs et la Terre Rêvée réussit à conjuguer innovation et respect des traditions de la série. Grâce à son monde ouvert rafraîchissant, un système d’alchimie profond mais accessible, et un groupe de personnages attachant, le jeu parvient à offrir une expérience à la fois relaxante et prenante. Si certains défauts techniques et un équilibrage imparfait dans les combats peuvent parfois ternir l’aventure, ils ne suffisent pas à gâcher le plaisir global. Les fans de la saga tout comme les nouveaux venus y trouveront sans mal leur compte.

Atelier Yumia delivers a charming adventure with a beautiful story and world. While the memory system's complexity isn't always a blessing, and the few technical glitches detract from the overall impressive, it's still a great pick for genre fans.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls rappelle les jeux de baston en cel-shading qui faisaient fureur au début des années 2000. Si l’approche parfois redondante et un brin complexe des combats peut surprendre au départ, le jeu laisse rapidement entrevoir la densité de son contenu avec un roster de 32 personnages et un mode Campagne qui retrace une grande partie du manga. L'aspect technique, en revanche, est en retrait et il ne faudra donc pas s’attendre à un titre qui répond aux codes visuels actuels. Trente ans après Toshinden, Tamsoft redonne un coup de boost à la licence Bleach en jeu vidéo et ça ne pourra que faire plaisir aux fans.
