Kunitsu-Gami è un gioco esemplare perché il team è riuscito a realizzare tutto ciò che si era prefissato. L'alternanza tra livelli, le battaglie con i boss e le rilassanti quanto veloci fasi di ricostruzione allontanano la noia e lasciano sempre con la stessa grande voglia di proseguire, di sbirciare la prossima sfida. Non è un open world ed è completamente esente da tempi morti: se hai mezz'ora, giocherai mezz'ora senza correre il rischio di non aver combinato nulla. Kunitsu-Gami è tradotto in italiano, non ha l'ombra di microtransazioni, il prezzo di lancio è di 49,99 Euro su ogni piattaforma e sarà presente fin dal primo giorno su Game Pass. Una meraviglia.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess è un'opera rara, per un mercato moderno dominato da cloni e dall'appiattimento della creatività. Se ad averla creata è una major come Capcom, coraggiosa nel proporre un mix di generi di nicchia, è chiaro che l'esperimento assume un valore ancora più di rilievo. Pur essendo un gioco sperimentale e non di prima fascia, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess dimostra di avere la forza per proporsi come un titolo dalle grandi unicità e dal carattere artistico distintivo.

Kunistu-Gami est une proposition presque indé supportée par un géant comme Capcom. Et au delà de savoir si c’est bien ou pas, on peut déjà louer l’initiative de la part du studio japonais. Mais en plus, cette proposition fonctionne, combinant habilement un jeu d’action compétent avec un bon tower defense, le tout enrobé dans un décor japonisant convaincant et maitrisé. Bref, c’est la bonne surprise de l’été.

Darkest Dungeon 2 may not be the sequel that ardent fans of the original wanted it to be, but its unique approach to that hard-edged, brutal roguelike gameplay is compelling all the same. A memorable art style, tons of replayability, and lots of mechanical depth make this one an easy recommendation to any roguelike fans, even if it can be a little grindy at times. If you’ve been looking for yet another tough roguelike to add to your collection, Darkest Dungeon 2 is certainly worth your time and your money.

Darkest Dungeon 2 è indubbiamente un buon gioco, sviluppato con competenza e con alla base tutta l'esperienza accumulata con il primo episodio. Il confronto con il predecessore mette però alla luce elementi di gioco di ruolo narrativo più classico. Questo mix forse è il peggior "difetto" del gioco, visto che risulta pesante il dover ricominciare da capo ogni volta (risultando quindi meno coinvolgente rispetto al primo Darkest Dungeon).

SCHiM est une production que l’on pourrait qualifier d’attachante. Cet esprit fait main porté par Ewoud van der Werf nous capte, tant sur son esthétique et son ambiance que sur son concept original, amusant et régressif. Malheureusement, malgré la légère diversité des puzzles et des règles de gameplay, celui-ci finit par montrer ses limites au point de laisser place à plusieurs moments d’ennui. Avec son prix de 24,99€ et sa demi-douzaine d’heures de jeu, l’expérience reste intéressante et recommandable. Pour la découverte, la chasse aux collectibles, sa retraversée avec des paramètres de difficulté ou son potentiel de speedrunning, SCHiM mérite le coup d’œil.

SCHiM is a wildly inventive platformer with a unique minimalist aesthetic, which is bolstered by creative gameplay and a steadfast focus on the human experience. I was surprised by the amount of emotional depth hidden within SCHiM’s shadow hopping platformer shell and appreciated becoming a small part of this world and its inhabitants. Though the premise is simple, SCHiM keeps things unique by constantly adding new challenges which utilizes light and darkness in creative ways, and I found myself consistently intrigued by where the story would go next.
