Where the Heart Leads is almost impossible to put down thanks to its strong characters, deep story and attention to detail. The game is brought down only by its minor inconveniences such as bugs and typos that detract only a little from the main experience. For fans of narrative games, this is a must-play, but even those who do not consider themselves fans of the genre might find something they relate to in this game.

Scarlet Nexus succeeds largely on the back of its engaging gameplay. Bandai Namco have crafted an excellent combat engine that lets you run wild with power. The characters could have used some sprucing up, and the repetition of the environments is disappointing, but the framework of a future franchise is here.

Roguebook è un rogue-lite basato sulle carte molto classico e anche per questo molto solido. Ogni partita ci vede alle prese con un po' di esplorazione, accumulo di nuove carte e scontri contro nemici normali e boss; i quattro personaggi, da usare in combo, garantiscono inoltre una buona varietà durante le partite. Il gameplay è abbastanza libero e il senso di progressione è ottimo. Se avete amato Slay the Spire, Roguebook vi farà vivere un'esperienza molto simile ma al tempo stesso leggermente differente. Non ha quella scintilla necessaria a renderlo unico, ma non compie nessun grosso errore.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is a great game that maintains enough elements of previous Ys games so that longtime fans will feel at home while the Monstrum gifts breathe new life into the gameplay. This is a must-play for fans of the series or action JRPGs in general, but while the hardware limitations of the Switch do not ruin the game or make it unplayable, they have been sources of frustration that take some of the fun away from the experience. Handheld mode suffers from muddier graphics, tiny text and the occasional massive framerate plummet during a boss battle. If playing Ys IX: Monstrum Nox on the go is essential, the Switch version is serviceable enough where the headaches from the performance issues don’t outweigh the positive aspects, but if it’s an option, the PlayStation 4 version is the superior way to experience Ys IX.

Strano, angosciante, forse anche visionario, The Silver Case 2425 su Switch è una buona visual novel nella quale dovrete mettere una notevole dose di impegno. Non per il gameplay, abbastanza basilare, quanto per l'enorme mole di dialoghi e descrizioni di eventi proposte in un inglese non banale, talvolta ridondante, che non aiuta a definire talvolta alcuni contesti di gioco. Per il resto, atmosfera e personaggi sono riusciti, l'avanzamento ha un buon ritmo e Suda traspare da più di un dettaglio. Consigliato ai fan delle avventure grafiche giapponesi a sfondo noir, a patto di spendere una cifra che per una remaster del genere è abbastanza enorme.
