Star Wars : Squadrons n'est qu'un AA dans un monde habitué aux mastodontes économiques mais cela ne l'empêche pas de s'en sortir honorablement. Malgré toutes les conséquences de ce choix économique, à savoir une technique faible et un contenu limité, l'expérience proposée est plaisante pour tous les fans de La Guerre des Étoiles et les autres. Avec son gameplay maîtrisé qui rend les dogfights grisants et son système de répartition de la puissance, Star Wars : Squadrons surprend agréablement et retient. Mais combien de temps ?

Inertial Drift is a fun arcade racer that brings a unique mechanic to drifting that works very well. While the tracks can be a little hard to read at times, after a few plays this becomes much less of an issue. There are plenty of cars to unlock and try, twenty tracks to learn and a decent story mode to help with learning the intricacies of the controls and modes. There are better overall arcade racers out there, but Inertial Drift definitely deserves a look if you fancy something a little different.

Strizzando l'occhio ai fan storici della saga e a coloro che dalle guerre stellari cercando prima di tutto battaglie tra X-Wing e Tie Fighter prima ancora che cavalieri Jedi e i poteri della Forza, Star Wars: Squadrons è un'ottima chiusura di generazione per il franchise EA e LucasArts, con la speranza che il supporto al gioco continui anche su PS5 e Series X|S grazie alla già preannunciata retrocompatibilità. Chiunque desideri mettere le mani sul più appagante sparatutto dedicato alla saga creata da George Lucas, deve necessariamente salire a bordo del titolo EA Motive, non aspettandosi però grandi cose dal versante singleplayer (di fatto, un allenamento alle sfide online).
