With some quite tricky puzzles, Ever Forward is a rather challenging puzzler. The luscious graphics and lovely soundtrack definitely help the experience, but I’d have liked a bit more game. The pacing is a touch on the slow side too, so not one for the impatient.

Bite the Bullet is a 2D side-scrolling shooter with an interesting eating mechanic. Choosing your food preferences and acquiring skills based on them is neat and clever, as is managing calorie, fat, and protein intake while devouring foes. Levels and enemies can get repetitive, but it's not that big of a deal.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris è un titolo non per tutti. Risulta piuttosto adatto solo per appassionati che si accontenteranno di ripercorrere le vicende degli episodi di Alicization e che per questo motivo potranno soprassedere a grossi problemi narrativi nella seconda parte e tecnici durante tutto il gioco. Il gioco di Aquria non è brutto ma si accontenta di essere un titolo insipido racchiuso nell'originalità e nelle idee altrui, senza provare a mettere la propria firma e la propria personalità. La telecamera è una spina nel fianco costante che vi ricorderà spesso che non siete voi i fautori del vostro destino, eppure continuiamo a pensare che sarebbe bastato prendere una scelta, intraprendere una via sola senza voler per forza accontentare tutti, appassionati e non.

In Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris verschlägt es Serien-Protagonist Kirito in eine neue virtuelle Online-Rollenspielwelt, die ein düsteres Geheimnis birgt. Szenario und Story sind trotz abgedroschenem Amnesie-Einstieg interessant, Design und Spielmechanik ähnlich wie in Hollow Realization. Auch das gruppenbasierte Echtzeit-Kampfsystem weist Parallelen auf, während die weitläufige Spielwelt zum Erkunden einlädt. Zudem kann man auch wieder kooperativ mit bis zu drei Online-Kameraden auf Missionen und Beutehatz gehen. Allerdings nicht von Anfang an, sondern erst nach ca. 20 Stunden Spielzeit – was für eingefleischte Koop-Fans verdammt lange sein kann. Die Ladezeiten hätten ebenfalls flotter, die Steuerung intuitiver, die Bildrate geschmeidiger sein können. Doch trotz mäßiger Technik und durchwachsener Spielstrukturierung macht es deutlich mehr Spaß, der Geschichte zu folgen, Fertigkeiten und Ausrüstung zu verbessern, Aufträge zu erledigen und Freundschaften zu pflegen als noch bei Fatal Bullet.

Exploitant à bon escient l'écran tactile de la Switch, Linn : Path of Orchards s'avère être un puzzle-platformer sympathique mais dont les niveaux défilent un peu trop vite. L'ensemble manque tout de même de variété et l'on aurait souhaité que le gameplay soit un peu plus affûté. L'accomplissement des objectifs secondaires et les niveaux bonus donnent heureusement davantage de matière à ce titre, rendant l'expérience plus exigeante que jamais.
