Forza Street è un drag racer immediato, divertente e bello da vedere, ma al contempo pavido e rinunciatario. Nell'ambito di questo peculiare sottogenere dei giochi di guida abbiamo infatti notato negli anni la volontà di evolversi, introducendo nuove meccaniche e valorizzando ancor di più l'aspetto strategico delle gare, ma la produzione Microsoft si accontenta di pochi tocchi e di un'interazione parecchio limitata, che alla lunga diventa inevitabilmente ripetitiva. La progressione viene gestita bene, le vetture sbloccabili sono tante e dopo un po' ci si riesce persino a districare nel marasma di biglietti, crediti, buste e monete d'oro che costituiscono l'ossatura freemium del gioco; ma alla fine si torna sempre al punto di partenza: un gameplay troppo strozzato per reggere alla lunga.
