MotoGP 20 è il miglior episodio della serie Milestone da diversi anni a questa parte. Al di là della fondamentale modalità grafica a 60 fps, disponibile purtroppo solo su PS4 Pro e Xbox One X, gli sviluppatori hanno introdotto svariate migliorie all'esperienza e anche sotto il profilo dell'intelligenza artificiale sono stati fatti degli importanti passi in avanti, a tutto vantaggio della varietà delle situazioni rappresentate in pista. La nuova carriera è entusiasmante e discretamente sfaccettata, ma è soprattutto la progressione del modello di guida, con le sue tantissime regolazioni, a svolgere il ruolo di protagonista nell'ambito di un gameplay che difficilmente vi deluderà.

Moving Out is a fun party game that is at its best when you are screaming at your friend to pivot as you awkwardly attempt to rotate an L-shape couch through a winding corridor too small for the task. It certainly has its moments, but unfortunately, it lacks enough of these to escape the shadow of Overcooked and rise to the same ranks of blissful pandemonium. The absence of competitive multiplayer and online play also hurts, but if you love these types of party games you can still find a good time waiting for you here.

Pirate Warriors 4 is a pleasant return to the One Piece series. While it could’ve been a little more comprehensive with the New World arcs, it does bring the series very up to date with the current anime arc. Loading times are longer than hoped, although the rest of the game performs well. Pirate Warriors 4 won’t set the world ablaze like the Straw Hat Pirates, but it’s still a treasure worth enjoying.

XCOM: Chimera Squad may be a full XCOM spin-off, but it feels more like testing ground for radical departures from the previous two games than a proper sequel. It plays with bold changes to the existing mechanics and story, but only props them up with a thin bit of scaffolding rather than a cohesive whole. Its unique characters are wonderful and its new ideas are certainly an interesting change of pace, even if they sacrifice some of the deeper strategic choice and dynamically generated storytelling I love the series for. Thankfully, none of those changes stop its combat from still being XCOM, and that tried-and-true formula (even with initiative-based turns) goes a long way toward keeping it fun in the face of its frustrating bugs and occasional missteps.

Avec TT Isle of Man – Ride of the Edge, Kylotonn réussit à proposer une simulation réussie et suffisamment pointue pour plaire aux férus du genre. Ceci dit, la fidèle reproduction de l’épreuve du Tourist Trophy et son réalisme ne suffisent pas à combler tous les petits défauts inhérents au soft. Manque de contenu, comportement des motos à revoir, multijoueur peu exploré et j’en passe, il y a encore de quoi faire pour tenir là un bon jeu de course. A contrario, TT Isle of Man – Ride of the Edge parviendra sans bien mal à satisfaire tous les aficionados de l’événement de l’île de Man qui cherchent à goûter aux joies de cette discipline légendaire.

This is a daring new take on this venerable series, and having just completed it, I can’t wait to run it again.

While Disaster Report 4 is a very stiff and jerky game, it is at least entertaining. Just don't try to play it twice.
