DOOM Eternal is een ware zegetocht voor ID Software. Brutaal, blakend van het zelfvertrouwen en vol energie. DOOM Eternal is de singleplayer-FPS op zijn allerbest. Snel, hectisch, met een vleugje tactiek en meer dan genoeg worldbuilding dat ik nu al benieuwd ben naar wat ze hier verder mee van plan zijn. De campaign blijft van begin tot eind boeien en zit vol met unlockables en secrets om de speelduur van een uur of 18 nog verder op te rekken. Is het een perfecte game? Dat nog net niet, maar er komen maar zelden shooters zo dicht bij.

Doom 64 is a different experience, it's still Doom, but it's like your favourite movie got directed by someone else and had to make everything from scratch again. While still fun all these years later, it's still a bit of-its-times, but that's part of the charm. It's Doom, done just a little bit different.

Motorcycle simulations really haven't ever taken off in video games, but since racing games are at their peak in today's world, there is certainly a market for it. TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 provides not only a unique riding experience for players, but is also a helpful tool. Racers are using the game to prepare for a real race and the changes to the physics system nearly replicate a real riding experience. It's amazing to get lost in the immersion of riding and cornering in these beautiful locations in Ireland and the UK, not to mention the actual Isle of Man itself. The visuals do have some way to go, but the overall feeling that comes from riding and the sound of the bikes more than make up for that. The game also only retails for $40 and I recommend that anyone who actually rides these types of bikes give TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 a go.

TT Isle of Man - Ride to the Edge 2 is een game voor de liefhebber. Hou je niet van een game waarin je op een vrij realistische wijze met een motor moet racen en ben je meer op zoek naar een casual ervaring, blijf dan ver weg van deze game. Wil je echter weten hoe het voelt om door de smalle straatjes op het Isle of Man te racen op een supersnelle bolide, dan is dit waar je naar op zoek bent.
