Blacksad: Under The Skin is an enjoyable detective game and the gritty noir story is very gripping. You care what happens to your cat-man detective and you’ll want to get to the bottom of the crime. All the other characters in the game are interesting and varied and the fact they are animals makes things a bit more entertaining. But the controls when moving Blacksad are so slow and clunky that they let the game down a tad, ruining the will to explore the world fully.

Whether you’re brand new to the battlefield or picking your blaster back up after a long hiatus, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a redemption story worthy of the Skywalker saga. It’s a big, broad, beautiful shooter that nails the Star Wars atmosphere almost everywhere. The campaign is still a bit of a snore, and occasionally long queue times in matchmaking and a handful of forgettable game modes give the multiplayer a couple of caveats, but highlights like Capital Supremacy and Galactic Assault make it stand out and the progression system is fair and rewarding. Overall, it’s a great package now that serves as one of the best and most thrilling ways to have an authentic Star Wars gaming experience.

Quelle tristesse ! Blacksad : Under the Skin oscille entre bugs horripilants et moments de tension efficaces, modélisations bancales et personnages attachants, maniabilité lourdaude et déductions intéressantes, QTE horripilants et enquête passionnante, comme un pendu magnifique au bout de sa corde. Trop inégal, il risque de refroidir les fans de The Wolf Among Us qui n'avaient pas grand-chose à se mettre sous la canine depuis les soubresauts morbides de Telltale et qui attendent religieusement sa suite. Pour les plus courageux, toutefois, ou les plus affamés, ce Blacksad cache dans sa manche un dernier tiers passionnant, avec des surprises, des retournements, des drames, du sang et des larmes. Trop peu, trop tard.

SuperEpic: The Entertainment War lays its feelings out for all to see on the current state of the big buck chasing corporate side of the game industry. That it does so with enough wit and entertainment factor is commendable; it would have been easy to fall on the wrong side of parody. The core gameplay is fun and engaging, the art is fantastic and – odd typo aside – the writing manages to get the message across in an entertaining way. Undercoders perhaps lent a little too heavily on the MetroidVania aspects with a hard to read map and even harder to keep track of side missions, but overall I had a blast with SuperEpic.

Titeuf Mega Party a beau être le recyclage d'un vieux jeu de 2004, il n'en reste pas moins un bon défouloir, surtout à plusieurs, qui respecte à la fois les codes de la licence et ceux du genre. La prise en main est immédiate, les nombreux défis tous aussi débiles, régressifs et réjouissants les uns que les autres. Et même si la technique apparaît logiquement datée, les petits comme les grands ont de quoi passer un moment convivial en compagnie de la bande à Titeuf.
