Battles in Crown Wars: The Black Prince can be determined by minutiae. If you’ve properly kitted out your soldiers and created a well-balanced party, victory is always within reach. Likewise, if the game can mend some of its imperfections, success seems likely. As long as the Artefacts Studio’s battle plan involves a long-term commitment of listening to feedback and making necessary modifications, Crown Wars has the potential to become a minor hit.

Hauntii è un prodotto pieno di carattere a livello artistico, mentre si rivela meno centrato e coraggioso sul piano del gameplay. Confusionario e poco rifinito dal punto di vista tecnico (anche se gli sviluppatori hanno assicurato di essere al lavoro per risolvere varie problematiche legate al codice del gioco), Hauntii è un'esperienza altalenante, splendida nelle fasi di esplorazione, spesso frustrante nel corso dei combattimenti e nella risoluzione di molti enigmi. Una maggiore sintesi e una rinuncia a parte del comparto ludico avrebbero probabilmente consentito agli sviluppatori di Moonloop Games di creare un'esperienza più centrata, meditativa, appagante per chi cerca un modo di riflettere giocando sul senso della vita, sul nostro rapporto con la morte e con il nostro passato. A conti fatti, Hauntii non riesce a brillare, lasciando spesso perplessi sul perché delle scelte compiute dai suoi creatori.

Hauntti nous a totalement envoûté. Magnifique, plaisant à parcourir et porté par une superbe bande-son, le titre est une véritable perle dans l’écosystème vidéoludique. Partant du gameplay basique des twin-stick shooters, il vient incorporer une mécanique de possession des objets et individus alentour, chacun possédant sa propre compétence. Varié également dans ses environnements, son bestiaire ou encore la récupération de ses collectibles en partie obligatoires, Hauntii ne nous a jamais lassé, bien au contraire.

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord non fa probabilmente per la maggior parte dei giocatori moderni e non si pone nemmeno il problema di compiacerli più di tanto. La definiremmo quasi un'esperienza didattica, che può allo stesso tempo coinvolgere e respingere chi non ha mai vissuto un certo periodo del medium videoludico. Come remake è altresì ottimo, dimostrando per l'ennesima volta la capacità di Digital Eclipse di valorizzare le opere del passato, attualizzandole nel modo più intelligente e rispettoso possibile.

Kuro Game atteint pleinement son objectif en concoctant une bonne alternative à Genshin Impact. Reste à voir l'accueil du public et le suivi du studio pour voir où mène cette aventure.

Hauntii ce n'est pas une pépite, c'est une merveille. En prenant un parti-pris risqué dans son esthétique, le titre de Moonloop Games parvient à offrir des environnements d'une beauté incroyable, sublimés par une bande-son absolument magnifique. Hauntii n'oublie pas pour autant de soigner son gameplay en proposant un collectathon addictif, et des phases de twin-stick shooter qui demandent un minimum d'implication. Le titre se paye également le luxe d'être chargé émotionnellement, pour nous livrer une histoire où la mélancolie côtoie l'espoir des retrouvailles.

Es una tarea complicada adaptar una obra que a su vez es un clásico atemporal y, por otro lado, ha perdido el lustre y la belleza de antaño. En mi memoria tenía un recuerdo vago, idealizado de System Shock en 1994. 30 años después me daba miedo desprecintar esa idealización. ¡Qué equivocado estaba! Nightdive ha llevado a cabo una titánica obra que va más allá de lavar la cara. Se ha ceñido prácticamente punto por punto a los sistemas originales para resucitar un título que, como diría Indiana Jones, debería estar en un museo.

xDefiant tiene parte de ese Call of Duty clásico que muchos fans llevan pidiendo añós, pero además consigue añadir pequeños ajustes jugables para entregar una experiencia FPS fresca, adictiva y divertida. Se queda corto en cuanto a contenido de lanzamiento, pero Ubisoft ya tiene la mirilla lista para dar en el blanco.

En voulant concurrencer Genshin Impact, Kuro Games a repris tout ce qui faisait le succès du titre de HoYoverse... parfois trop même. Que ce soit dans sa structure, son contenu et même son interface, tout rappelle le roi du gacha. Pour autant, il tente de se démarquer sur certains points comme son gameplay d'action plus poussé que ses rivaux, mais aussi sa direction artistique élégante qui pourra en faire basculer certains. Malheureusement, difficile de profiter de l'expérience comme il faut à cause de cette traduction française ratée. En résumé, Wuthering Waves a quelques arguments pour convaincre les déçus de Genshin Impact, mais reste à savoir s'il réussira à faire preuve d'un suivi aussi exemplaire que celui des productions HoYoverse.

El clásico de GameCube necesitaba una nueva versión para Switch con gráficos y una banda sonora actualizados. Respeta el material original, pero la consola híbrida aporta su toque personal en la jugabilidad, haciendo que la aventura de Mario sea más epica e imprescindible.

For 20 years, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has been held as the best Mario RPG of all time, and the Switch remake proves it has earned that title. This is a fantastic RPG adventure, whether you’re a Mario fan or not, with some best-in-class combat, brilliant writing, and a few little creases ironed out to make this the definitive way to play Thousand-Year Door. We wish there was a little more to do post-credits, but there’s no doubt about it, this is a beautiful-looking Switch remake and a must-play RPG.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II delivers a spellbinding adventure packed with cinematic spectacle and story surprises that maintains a surging sense of forward momentum and never wastes a second of its slender run time. Its combat manages to feel consistently intimidating and immediate despite its mechanical simplicity, and its perspective-based puzzles regularly scratch cerebral itches even though they largely rehash or rework concepts from Senua’s previous story. A journey as brutal as it is beautiful delivered with hardware-pushing visuals and persistently absorbing audio, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is another Viking-worthy feast for the senses that meets the high bar set by its predecessor, even if it never really manages to clear it.
