Another Code sigue conteniendo una gran historia, y este remake hace que luzca mucho más y se escuche mucho mejor. Sin embargo, los puzles se resienten, se sienten viejos y el ritmo de la aventura se me ha hecho bastante lento. Aún así, es un pack perfecto para jugarlo arropado en una mantita y tomándose un rico té este invierno. La aventura de Ashley merece la pena ser contada, pero ojalá esta reconstrucción no solo adaptara puzles, sino que los reconvirtiera para que se sintieran tan frescos como los originales.

Bref, on aimerait que tous les remasters soient comme The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Ici, Naughty Dog étoffe intelligemment le contenu du chef d'œuvre de la PS4, avec - déjà - des coulisses à tout-va (Lost Levels, commentaires audio) et surtout, un mode roguelite qui nous a franchement emballé. C’est tout simplement le prétexte parfait pour replonger dans l’univers et l’action viscérale de Part 2, avec une durée de vie à présent étoffée de 10h-15h. Même le petit boost graphique, en 4K Native, fait son effet - malgré un 30 FPS un petit peu décevant (même avec le VRR). Au final, un remaster qui ne se moque pas du tout de nous.

Sans jamais ciller ni renier son héritage, complètement maîtrisé, The Lost Crown vient s'asseoir auprès de Hollow Knight et des Ori, références actuelles du Metroidvania. Une vraie bonne baffe.

DreadOut 2 DreadOut 2 segna il ritorno dei talenti di Digital Happiness nel mondo dei survival horror. Rispetto al passato, la formula è stata ampliata: tuttavia, persistono brutture tecniche ed un game design a tratti più oscuro della storia raccontata. L'avventura di Linda è ricca di spunti interessanti e lugubri, ma si affanna ed inciampa in un'ambizione fuori parametro rispetto ai mezzi e risultati raggiunti. In un mondo, come quello indipendente, in cui a volte si riescono ad ottenere risultati eccelsi che sanno coniugare risorse ed aspirazioni, la produzione indonesiana resta un esperimento incoraggiante ma ancora lontano dal giusto equilibrio per essere ricordato dal grande pubblico. The Lost Crown is a good modern template for an old franchise, taking the essence of Prince of Persia into a familiar metroidvania format. With fun combat, good boss battles, and smooth platforming mechanics, only the convoluted levels and overlong platforming keep it from being timeless.

Prince of Persia was long in need of a resurrection, and in The Lost Crown, it's found it. Excellent platforming, clever puzzles and a huge map make one of the best Metroidvania games in years, and kicks off 2024 in style.

Après des mois de galère, Ubisoft sort du sable vainqueur. Prince of Persia The Lost Crown réussit avec brio le retour de la franchise sur la scène vidéoludique. Tout n'est pas parfait mais le titre nous offre une expérience de jeu comme on les aime, avec un metroidvania abouti et même novateur, ce qui est assez rare pour le noter. On apprécie son ambiance orientale, ses décors et la complexité de ses environnements.

Si l’on résume : combats profonds, acrobaties impressionnantes, pièges et énigmes, boss complexe, personnages intéressants, pouvoirs temporels, présentation soignée et assumée. On dirait bien que Prince of Persia : The Lost Crown coche la plupart des cases. Sans oublier qu’il le fait en étant un Metroidvania très respectueux des codes du genre et innovant sur certains de ses points les plus rebutants. Bref, pari largement gagné pour Ubisoft Montpellier.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown puts its best foot forward with rewarding and satisfying gameplay at its core. Combining the series' 2D past with the time-bending powers from later games, this Metroidvania is a brilliant blend that brings the franchise back in a fresh new way. While it can sometimes look a little underwhelming, and the sheer size of the game threatens to slow its own momentum, the fluid, challenging platforming and combat are so fun that any shortcomings fade into the background. This is an overall great action adventure with a lot to offer.
