I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed this game. It does require you to be a fan of both point-and-click and platform games, but if you are, then this is an absolute diamond-studded must buy.

Mars Horizon saura vous accrocher pendant de longues heures. Sa direction assez simple alliée à son propos respectueux et cohérent avec le domaine de la conquête spatiale propose un résultat consistant. C'est à travers cette course à l'objectif – Mars – que le concept se fait, dans un jeu de gestion aux allures dirigistes mais accrocheuses. Cette bonne surprise s'affirme grâce à son gameplay alliant le ludisme aux interfaces de gestion. Légèrement routinier à long terme, le jeu frôle par moments avec risque la redondance. Mais son aspect fidèle au savoir de la conquête spatiale – découlant de collaborations avec des acteurs reconnus du domaine comme l'ESA – permet une progression attentive au réalisme, et la possibilité de s'abreuver de connaissances à travers une encyclopédie dédiée.

Animal Well es uno de los juegos indies más interesantes de cuantos se ha lanzado hasta ahora en 2024. Parte de una fórmula conocida, la de un metroidvania, pero la retuerce para convertirla en algo distinto y llevanos a un terreno menos explorado, repleto de misterios y secretos. Un juego especial, que deberías jugar a poco que te llame el género.

Animal Well è un piccolo sogno e un grande gioiello: un metroidvania originale dalle meccaniche uniche, che descrive un mondo che difficilmente riuscirete a dimenticare. La sua struttura di gameplay e i suoi puzzle lo pongono, senza dubbio alcuno, come uno fra i migliori esponenti del suo genere da dover necessariamente vivere e fare proprio.

Impegnativo, accattivante, a volte ipnotico, a volte irritante: Animal Well è tante cose ma risulta soprattutto un'esperienza abbastanza unica capace di coniugare gameplay vecchio e nuovo. Forse la natura da platform game talvolta un po' "action" stona un po' con la necessità di ragionare (spesso anche parecchio) di fronte a numerose situazioni, ma si tratta dell'unico punto di frizione che mi sento di percepire in un meccanismo che altrimenti funziona praticamente alla perfezione. Se vi piacciono i giochi da decifrare e abbastanza stratificati, avete appena trovato un nuovo amico.

Little Kitty, Big City is an undeniably cozy and mechanically minimal game tailor-made for cat lovers. Its small but inviting sandbox can provide a few hours of ticking objectives off a list before any repetition sets in, allowing this feline adventure to stretch its exploratory legs before wearing out its welcome. Its graphics are cute and delightful, especially for people who just like to watch their pets leap into boxes or trot along when they realize they are not supposed to be in the kitchen. What’s missing are a few layers of polish on its movement and camera controls, which can make climbing around this city more frustrating than it needs to be. And while the campaign may be brief, being a street-level cat discovering the world a few blocks at a time easily holds up across it.

Little Kitty, Big City is an adorable adventure that will almost certainly turn you into a cat lover, if you're not one already. It oozes charm and the realistic cat animations are simply incredible, although for as fun as it is to wander about the city, the game leans heavily on fetch quests and gathering up collectibles, which can lead to repetition. If you're someone who thrives on that kind of gameplay, however, then you'll have an absolute blast with this one.
