I try not to compare games to each other when necessary, but I can't help but think that if Wrath: Aeon of Ruin fully released in 2019 rather than in Early Access, it would feel like a much better game. But alas everything Wrath: Aeon of Ruin does, other boomer shooters have done better. It's not a bad game by any means, but why settle for bog standard?

Balatro è un roguelite ispirato al poker che non possiamo non consigliare agli amanti del genere. Denso di contenuti e sfide da completare, ha un gameplay dinamico, più strategico di quanto si potrebbe pensare per un gioco basato anche sulla fortuna e un'estetica piacevole, sebbene un po' ripetitiva. Di tanto in tanto la sfortuna ha la meglio e bisogna accettarlo, ma questo ci farà venir voglia di fare una partita in più.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth impressively builds off of what Remake set in motion as both a best-in-class action-RPG full of exciting challenge and depth, and as an awe-inspiring recreation of a world that has meant so much to so many for so long. After 82 hours to finish the main story and complete a decent chunk of sidequests and optional activities, there's still much to be done, making this pivotal section of the original feel absolutely massive. Minigames, sidequests, and other enticing diversions fill the spaces of its vast and sprawling regions, painting a new and more vivid picture of these familiar locations. But more than just being filled with things to do, Rebirth is often a powerful representation of Final Fantasy VII's most memorable qualities. It does fumble the execution of its ending, getting caught up in the mess of its multiple twisting timelines, but new moments and the overarching journey manage to evoke a deeper sense of reflection in spite of that. So, for as flawed as parts of how this classic has been reimagined might be, Rebirth still stands out as something both thrilling and unexpectedly impactful.

Pacific Drive è un viaggio nell’ignoto imperfetto ma unico nel suo genere. Si tratta di un buon survival game in cui l’atmosfera costantemente inquietante, il rapporto che si viene a instaurare con la propria auto, la profonda personalizzazione di quest’ultima e l’adrenalina delle corse a rotta di collo verso il prossimo Gateway aiutano a chiudere un occhio sui difetti. Tra i lati meno convincenti troviamo una raccolta delle risorse che tende a gravare sulle sessioni a piedi, una curva d’apprendimento impervia per diversi motivi e una difficoltà non sempre bilanciata ottimamente. Ah, dimenticavo: ricordatevi di mettere il freno a mano quando scendete dalla macchina!

Pocas cosas son tan elegantes como los números. Eso es lo que pone sobre la mesa Balatro, un juego tan genialmente diseñado y en el que encajan tan bien las piezas, que se convierte desde ya en uno de los juegos independientes del año. Disney Speedstorm démarre de manière on ne peut plus correcte mais il n’a pas encore ce qu’il faut pour s’imposer aisément sur le podium. Gameloft doit revoir certains points, surtout les systèmes de progression et de monétisation qui pourraient décourager les joueurs sur la durée. Toutefois, la base se veut solide et le fun répond présent dès les premières courses. Les fans des propriétés Disney peuvent aisément commencer à y jouer dès l’accès anticipé, en espérant que l’aspect pay-to-win en solo ne prenne pas trop le dessus au fil du temps et que les ajouts restent fréquents.
