Une belle petite surprise que ce RoboCop : Rogue City. Très fidèle à la première trilogie culte, bourrin à souhait, le titre est un défouloir très intéressant, dont le rythme est cependant cassé par les phases d'exploration, avec ces "quêtes" secondaires quelque peu inutiles. Un bon titre quoi qu'il en soit.

RoboCop : Rogue City est une adaptation respectueuse et efficace de l’illustre saga de science-fiction éponyme… ni plus ni moins. Le jeu de tir développé par Teyon et édité par Nacon applique scrupuleusement la formule du “FPS à l'ancienne”, non sans tenter de sortir des sentiers maintes fois battus avec plus ou moins de réussite. En définitive, RoboCop : Rogue City fera vibrer les fans de la franchise ainsi que tous les joueurs en quête d’action en provenance de 80’s. Mission accomplie (ou presque).

Como amante de los JRPG, he de aplaudir lo que se ha hecho con Star Ocean The Second Story R. Es muy respetuoso con el material original, tomándose las licencias justas para que sea más divertido y accesible jugarlo. El cambio gráfico le sienta muy bien, y la historia sigue siendo tan emotiva, abierta y variada como siempre. Si te gusta el JRPG clásico de la era de PSOne, te va a gustar

Star Ocean: The Second Story R è un acquisto imprescindibile per chiunque abbia amato il capolavoro di tri-Ace, nonché un’occasione imperdibile per eventuali neofiti di scoprire uno dei migliori action RPG degli anni ’90. Lasciando inalterato l’intreccio originale e innestando nuove meccaniche al suo frenetico sistema di combattimento, i ragazzi di Gemdrops hanno saputo confezionare un remake fedele e al tempo stesso innovativo. La bizzarra scelta di accostare gli storici sprite 2D a un mondo tridimensionale ricreato da zero potrà non soddisfare tutti i palati, specie quelli delle nuove generazioni, ciononostante siamo fermamente convinti che questo restauro abbia giovato parecchio a quello che i fan considerano tuttora il miglior Star Ocean di sempre.

Star Ocean The Second Story R is exactly what it needs to be: a faithful remake of a classic PS1 RPG that greatly enhances the experience for both new and returning players. A wonderful visual overhaul combined with numerous quality of life improvements and expanded battle mechanics make this a borderline must-play for anyone who's looking for an old-school adventure. Although the underlying PS1-era design does still have some rough edges — particularly in the storytelling and combat balance — it's hard to knock such a well crafted revival.
