Terra Nil è un’esperienza entusiasmante dall’inizio alla fine. Ed è proprio quest’ultima il problema, visto che giungerà fin troppo presto, non lasciando sostanzialmente alcun motivo per tornare a giocare, data l’assenza di qualsivoglia modalità aggiuntiva capace di garantire una fruibilità a posteriore. Certo vi sono indubbiamente delle produzioni capace di rendere un punto di forza la loro brevità intrinseca, ma decisamente non è il caso dell’opera di Free Lives. E’ dunque lecito aspettarsi la release futura di uno o più contenuti extra in forma di espansioni, possibilmente gratuite visto il prezzo di vendita (25 euro) non indifferente. A dispetto di qualche incertezza sul fronte dell’interfaccia, Terra Nil rimane una gioia tanto per la vista quanto per l’udito. Un’esperienza che consigliamo praticamente a tutti; specialmente a chi dovesse star cercando un gestionale/rompicapo impegnativo ma anche rilassante.

Se cercate qualcosa di simile a PayDay 2 come esperienza shooting da giocare in un’ambientazione metropolitana in stile GTA e con qualche condimento gestionale, Crime Boss: Rockay City potrebbe regalarvi qualche timida soddisfazione, soprattutto nella modalità Urban Legends, un’efficace via di mezzo tra la campagna in singolo e le partite veloci di Crime Time. Spiace però che l’esperienza da sparatutto non dica granché e che la trovata (più mediatica che altro) delle “vecchie glorie” hollywoodiane funzioni solo in parte, anche per colpa di un comparto grafico e di un doppiaggio sotto tono. In co-op, Crime Boss: Rockay City riesce a regalare qualche soddisfazione in più, mentre in singolo non si va oltre la sufficienza, soprattutto a causa di evidenti limiti a livello di IA, ripetitività delle missioni, stealth poco funzionale e gestione delle armi.

MLB The Show 23 doesn't reinvent the genre, but the franchise continues to stand as one of the best on the market. The gameplay is fantastic across all phases of the sport, and the line-up of modes has been improved thanks to the addition of Storylines. There is still room for improvement, but The Show remains a contender for best sports title of the year.

After a somewhat disappointing 2022, it’s amazing how far forward Sony San Diego has pushed MLB The Show 23. It seems like every element has received attention, whether its the improved scouting in the Franchise mode, updates to match the current MLB rulebook, or a vastly more helpful practice mode. This remains a gorgeous showcase for baseball, with some of the most lifelike sights and sounds to behold in a sports game. It remains to be seen if Sets and Seasons in Diamond Dynasty will frustrate in the long run, but the crowning achievement this year is the Negro Leagues mode. This playable piece of baseball history is a triumph, presented with care, grace, and attention to detail. It’s courageous and bold, like the pioneers it highlights, and it’s astonishing to experience something so affecting from a baseball game. If for nothing else, that alone makes MLB The Show 23 a must-play.

MLB The Show 23 In conclusione, MLB The Show 23 è un altro episodio di qualità nella fortunata serie Sony. Il gameplay rivisto e rifinito, le nuove modalità di gioco (la Negro Leagues vale da sola il prezzo del biglietto) e il roster ufficiale della stagione rappresentano un must per tutti i fan del baseball e della serie. Nonostante alcune imperfezioni nel comparto multiplayer, MLB The Show 23 offre un mix perfetto di simulazione e arcade che appassionerà tutti gli amanti dello sport americano. PRO La Negro Leagues è un'aggiunta fenomenale che vale da sola il prezzo del biglietto | Il fielding è più coinvolgente grazie a un misuratore di lancio rielaborato | Grafica buona ... | CONTRO ... ma che potrebbe essere migliorata ulteriormente | In Diamond Dynasty è troppo semplice ottenere giocatori di alto livello |

While not a lot has changed in terms of ways to play MLB The Show 23, the experience on the field is much improved. The time spent on the audio aspect and the focus on better replicating a television broadcast are this game’s specialty. The lack of updated rule changes, however, is a weird gaff. The modes remain the same for the most part outside of the inclusion of the Negro League stories. This is hampered by tying progression down to the Challenge Mode, which has been historically frustrating. Spreading the game across multiple outdated platforms and also tying this to Game Pass is hurting the progression of the series as it has become visually dated. This isn’t a big deal if you’re already paying for Game Pass, but paying $70 for a dated-looking game where a good bit of it is unchanged and previous Diamond Dynasty progression is reset is a hard ask. MLB The Show 23 is still a solid game of baseball, but it has been a solid game of baseball for years and being stuck on one platform no longer offers an excuse for attracting new players.

The makers of MLB The Show 23 clearly heard the complaints about a lack of fresh features in recent entries, as this year’s game offers up the new exciting and enlightening Storylines mode as well as significant tweaks and improvements to Franchise, March to October, and Diamond Dynasty. A lack of innovation when it comes to core gameplay keeps this year’s title from being a true home run, but it’s at least a strong double.

MLB The Show 23 is a better all-round package than last year's outing, thanks in large part to the new Storylines mode that adds a well-presented and educational history lesson for players to get involved in. In terms of this Switch port, presentation is perfectly acceptable, with the expected graphical downgrades made, but the frame rate can still be troublesome in places, making for play that feels sluggish in comparison to other platforms. This issue aside, though, this is a solid port that brings all the modes found in other versions of the game, making for a decent overall option for MLB fans.

Terra Nil is a strategy game that's devoid of land colonisation, the exploitation of natural resources, or anything else you'd usually associate with a game of this ilk. But it's all the better for it. If you want a tranquil terraforming game, this is a good fit.

Crime Boss Rockay City è una produzione con diverse criticità, sia sul fronte prettamente tecnico che in merito alla varietà situazionale offerta dal pacchetto. Al netto di questi difetti però, il titolo Ingame Studios riesce nell’obiettivo di incarnare lo spirito del filone cinematografico a cui è ispirato, complici anche gli attori noti nel suo cast. La componente gestionale funziona, le scenette comiche non mancano e il piombo vola in ogni dove. Il voto che vedete è da considerarsi un punto di partenza per un'opera pensata per espandersi nel tempo. Se gli sviluppatori manterranno la promessa di pubblicare nuovi contenuti gratuiti e limeranno alcune problematiche, l’opera prima dello studio con sede a Brno potrebbe ritagliarsi un piccolo spazio nel panorama videoludico, forte anche del suo costo accessibile.

Il cast stellare e il prezzo contenuto non possono che attirare l’attenzione sull’heist game di INGAME STUDIOS, Crime Boss Rockay City, tuttavia l’attrattiva iniziale svampa rapidamente per lasciare spazio a una seduzione più consistente e duratura. Il fatto che Michael Madsen, Chuck Norris e altri siano stati scomodati per la realizzazione del videogame si dimostra più una pecca che un vantaggio, eppure le meccaniche di gioco offerte dal titolo sono tanto solide da compensare l’attuale debolezza della presentazione. Crime Boss Rockay City nasce come live service, quindi ora come ora i gamer si ritroveranno per le mani un titolo che sebbene sia completo si dimostra tutto sommato modesto. L’esperienza di lancio non è tuttavia che un trampolino di lancio per un percorso che, se adeguatamente temprato, potrebbe presto dar vita a un fenomeno videoludico entusiasmante. Le speranze sono alte, i piani sono stati definiti, ora sta agli sviluppatori e al distributore portare avanti la missione e sbancare il settore.

Malgré quelques bugs et des combats parfois peu lisibles, Tchia propose une aventure véritablement rafraichissante, auréolée de musiques typiques impeccables et d’un récit savamment construit et en proie à quelques instants d’émotions. L’île d’Uma et ses sublimes panoramas constituent un parfait terrain de jeu pour les innombrables possibilités offertes. En bref, une ode à la liberté qui constitue une très bonne entrée en matière pour le studio Awaceb et qui traduit d’un cumul de bonnes idées : on a déjà hâte de pouvoir poser les mains sur leur prochain projet !
