Même si certains défauts ont quelque peu gâché mon expérience, je mentirais en disant que je n'ai pas apprécié ce test. L'ambiance m'a totalement convaincu et malgré plusieurs milliers d'heures d'Open World à mon compteur, j'ai tout de même pu apprécier cette aventure même si elle n'invente rien. Avalanche Software a réussi sa mission, en livrant un jeu qui ne manquera pas de séduire un très grand nombre de joueurs de tout âge. Cela étant, les vieux de la vieille pourraient être très rapidement lassés par des mécaniques déjà largement éprouvées dans d'autres jeux du genre. On regrettera aussi une narration un peu trop simpliste, des personnages importants sans aucun charisme et une technique assez limitée faisant craindre le pire pour les versions de génération précédente.

It is such a pleasure to get a story experience such as A Space For The Unbound, with how welcoming its world is, with all of its intrigue and suspense that delivers well on the hype. And being a small team working on it like Toge Production is, they deserve all the plaudits. Get this game now, at full price, and you won’t be disappointed at all.

Hogwarts Legacy is, for better or worse, an entertaining and engaging game. By far the best digital version of the wizarding world, it offers a vast swathe of things to do. Even the more mundane elements (bandit camps!) are improved by a robust combat system that genuinely makes you feel like you're a part of the Harry Potter universe.

Deliver Us Mars comes crashing back down to Earth because of presentation failings, story missteps, and technical issues, despite a somewhat compelling personal tale involving the majesty of space travel and exploration of the red planet.

In nearly every way, Hogwarts Legacy is the Harry Potter RPG I’ve always wanted to play. Its open-world adventure captures all the excitement and wonder of the Wizarding World with its memorable new characters, challenging and nuanced combat, and a wonderfully executed Hogwarts student fantasy that kept me glued to my controller for dozens of hours. It’s certainly weighed down by technical issues, a lackluster main story, and some poor enemy variety, but even those couldn’t come close to breaking its enchanting spell over me.

Hogwarts Legacy può essere un manifesto del cuore che vince sulla ragione. Quello imbastito da Avalanche Software è infatti un RPG open world poco stimolante nelle dinamiche di esplorazione e con una formula ruolistica non del tutto impattante, che potrebbe stancare i giocatori più esigenti. Tuttavia riteniamo che i difetti siano ottimamente controbilanciati da un buon combat system, da una gran cura per i dettagli e da una ineccepibile direzione artistica, che rappresenta una vera lettera d'amore al Wizarding World e ai suoi fan.

Se dovessimo giudicare Hogwarts Legacy solo dall’atmosfera che veicola, non potremmo che dargli un 10 pieno, dato che se siete fan della saga adorerete anche solo girovagare per il castello o indugiare in qualche attività secondaria. Naturalmente siamo qui per giudicare il titolo Avalanche nella sua interezza, cosa che ci fa essere più realisti su molte cose, per quanto è impossibile non tributare i giusti onori agli sforzi del team realizzativo, che ha dimostrato intraprendenza, senso pratico, grande rispetto per i fan e per il materiale originale, perizia nel rinnovarlo e nell’integrarlo con elementi inediti e la capacità di presentare un unicum il cui difetto principale sta nel non poter essere “tutto” quel che ci si potrebbe aspettare. “Non c’è il Quidditch”, “Le meccaniche di alchimia, crafting erbologia sono troppo semplicistiche”, “Non ci sono le romance” e tanto altro gli verrà additato, ma al contempo sono presenti tantissime altre feature che non ci aspettavamo, tra cui la possibilità di utilizzare Maledizioni senza perdono in una maniera sensata e coerente.
